I’m wondering if Ms Farrell had someone in the audience recording the show. If so, she will probably post the kissing scenes on the Internet. That would REALLY make her popular with Quill!

On stage or in life, Quill can play it right. And, Luann is adorable.

Why is no one commenting on the surprising level of maturity young Miss Luann is demonstrating in her acceptance of Quill’s kissing scene? It seems more consistent with her character to get resentful and snarly, but she’s handling it very gracefully.

Watch out Frank. That play may have given your wife some ‘frisky’ ideas when you get home.

You know, I’ve been wondering just how Quilly is going to feel if he finds out Luann had engaged Gunther as her personal espionage agent on him.^^Well, only Gunth knows, and even he seems to like MPQ, now that he is no longer going for Lu…. of course, Greg left that open when Rosa announced she might be going to a far-off college

Nice backstage moment. I like how Quill and Luann circle cautiously and then unite, the big contrast being between how the Tiffster clung to Quill like a barnacle a few scenes ago and how now Luann fondly touches him. They are in the touchy-feely stage of early romance….

Luann has never looked better or foxier. Maturity in looks and attitude setting in it seems.

Tiff played the co-lead role in this major production. You can call her a lot of things, but “talentless” and “only good for modeling” simply do not apply. She gets the same plaudits as Quill. She practiced to be good. She may have had to be extra good in that she is also so attractive and curvy. It was cruel and implausible that Miss M would undercut the very lead she picked for the play. Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s only a comic.

@cur … I think it is ugly to say to DW that he must be “off his meds.” Their are lots of reasons this is wrong, but one is that it makes offends by association those taking meds in the learning, fluency, depression, and attention realm – many of which are young people trying to function better and do well in the world.

There can be lots of discussion on whether DW is appropriate for this forum, but his stream of consciousness style is not without structure, meaning, and intension.

Tiff may be nice to look at, but many (possibly “most”) guys don’t like “plastic” for anything beyond looking. I’ll take an attractive, intelligent, strong woman over a “smokin’ hot babe” without the last two attributes any day. And I did — about 20 years ago!

In fact, according to my cursory research, the vast majority of her “performances” at Flyers games (and during the 7th inning stretch at Yankees ball games, too), even before her death, were via recorded audio/video — a tradition that continues to this day.

On a different topic, since we know that Toni and Brad were there to see the show, I have to wonder why they are not there to congratulate Quill also^^I expect that they came together and left together

I do have 2 daughters that are 10 years apart. The older one does still need to have parental approval of what she wears (the younger one really has no choice at all). Granted she is not yet the age of Luann, but there are still the ‘You are under our roof, you are under our rules’ Rules. It is indeed a matter of trust, but it is also a matter of being involved parents (which many aren’t these days). I was just surprised that Nancy, and especially Frank, allowed the outfit. Of course, we were not shown the story that could have been run behind the scenes regarding that discussion. There may have been more drama in the DeGroot house than on stage.

I hope Greg is done with Aaron Hill!!! He was way too egotistical for my taste…I think the character of Quill has some substance to it; he isn’t a one-dimensional character. There are parts to him that can still be mined in the comic.

Quill’s winter break in the school year should be ending now. It’s time to fly back and for classes to resume, so can the DeGroots please drive him to the airport and end all this?
