I like how this story is developing. Looks like Uncle Ray and Bonnie are in serious trouble. And for the record, I am so looking forward to Notta Chin Chillar’s return. The Chin Chillars and especially Notta were my favorite characters when I was young. Her return can’t come soon enough. Just wanted to get that out there.
Actually, that story was probably written by the blogger, but it’s a good story. Yeats apparently just mentioned the Cóiste Bodhar beliefs that he encountered.
If she’s new to carriage driving, two horses will be tricky enough. Driving four-in-hand is much harder, and six-in-hand requires a really skilled professional. Not that I can do it myself you understand, but I read Patrick O’Brian. :-)
It appears to me that “Columbia” drives a hearse, with transparent glass sides. I see no evidence of seats inside. Maybe Uncle Ray and Bonnie will ride topside with “Columbia,” who probably doesn’t need a disguise since no one here knows her, and later on “dead men (and girls) tell no tales.” Let’s hope Reverend Ray is a survivor, and Bonnie Braids, too!
Who’da thunk? I have to agree with Chris Jackson on this one..Rikki’s disguise is very much like Moon Maid’s disguise in the Archie cartoon of Dick Tracy vs. Mumbles!
Yesterday’s events: Yup. Looks like I called it right. Li’l Abner is too respectful of his former boss..No poison pizza. But pizza? I would think Abner has a little more class than that!.Moving on: Do we see the end of the Apparatus? Not with a bang, but a whimper?.And in recruiting B.B. Eyes, the only failure Abner will have is Richard, himself. But this second failure, against the same target, will degrade his reputation as a villain..Do Mike and Joe intend to do in Bonnie and/or Ray? Quite possibly. Abner does have a reputation to keep, and he’s not going to keep it against Dick Tracy…
……..doubting any of them will be killed off…….the contract’s on Dick Tracy; the others are more likely bait to lure him there. If they kill them, makes any type of trade off impossible, and if they are dead, Tracy and the force would simply storm the baddies and blow them away. (plus I’m getting the feeling good guys never get killed anymore nowadays anyways)
watch em use the carriage to escape ala Stilletta and the ambulance before……..hey, if he DID kill Dick “Mr. Personality” Tracy, how long before anyone would notice, lol? Anyways, hope Tracy saves himself this time instead of being rescued again……the latter result doesn’t really leave him looking so great..
I wouldn’t hop into a hearse for a free meal! Funny thing— where I live, a fried chicken place has a hearse outside the restaurant with “Chicken to die for” emblazoned on its side.
It didn’t work because the straight quotation marks were changed to “curly quotes.” Microsoft Word typically does that. If you use Notepad, you won’t have that problem. Also, if you enter a comment that doesn’t work, you can always delete it. Hover over the bottom part of the box near the right-hand side and you’ll see a “Delete” link.
Yay, it seems you got the blockquote working, with one little mistake. On the padding:.5em; you forgot the “em” part. If you don’t give it a unit type the number won’t work. I always paste it from Notepad, but it could be that some other browser copied the underlying code instead of the resulting appearance when you tried to copy from the web page. I only tried that with Chrome. Once you have it in a text file, you should be able to paste it back here without problem.
It’d be really cool TO see Abner try to kill Bonnie in frontof Dick……definitely get a little emotion out of him then, anyways…..although have a feeling Ab would be a "C"ad aver for real afterwards.
Haha, fredville, she’s definitely cute, but that would make her attempted murder all the more dramatic. Apparently, they were expecting her along with Ray (“Here they come”), so they must have a plan of some kind as to what to do with her.

Anyone heard of the TV Trope “Paper-Thin Disguise”? Cause that’s how I describe Rikki’s disguise.

There isn’t any seats in a coiste bodhar is there? I thought they just had a place to slide the coffin into, unless of course it’s been modified.

With the tiny mustache above the puckered lips, it looks like Rikki is doing an impression of Méliès.

Here are some colors you can use that work in most recent browsers: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_colornames.asp
If you’re going to use a dark color, you might want to throw a color:white; just after the first quotation mark so it’s a bit easier to read.

The hit is on Tracy not his family – maybe they are going to be collected and used as lure into a death trap?
gouldstandard almost 11 years ago
all of this can be averted if Dick just gets with the program and joins the Blackhearts himself, lol
