More excellent artwork. The coloring in the last two panels captures the atmosphere of a dark alleyway illuminated by the lanterns.

…..love the look of misery and fear on their faces in panel one…..now that they have Tracy in stow, why wouldn’t they kill them anyways to eliminate witnesses? He’s probably well aware of this if it were real life….

I love the “wall-to-wall” flat panel TV in the old-time rig! They look like they’re both still knocked out by the gas. I don’t suppose they’d make very good witnesses unless they’re more aware of their condition. So… she’s taking him to the underworld. Sounds ominous.

I can’t say enough good things about the artwork. Depth, atmosphere, details, shape, mood, all excellent.

They could be dead and their bodies posed.

…..Dick should find out how much Kadaver’s getting and offer to double it to set him free…..heck, Abner’s a businessman,right?

Rikki Mortis is very eager to identify herself and the carriage-ride’s goal. I hope they’re receiving transmission of all this at police HQ, via Wrist Genie. And even if not, it’s a big mistake not to have gassed Tracy, because I’m sure he’s armed and itching for a fight….

Where are all the cops? Didn’t they get the notice of that death coach is to be found and the driver is wearing the exact same outfit? Talk about Keystone Kops!

Tracy ALWAYS has his wrist communicator on so Sam and Lizz can track where he is and what to do about it.PREDICTION: Rikki will reach rigor mortise before Tracy does.

Papers in the alley: There were papers in the hallways of Moon Maid’s disco, too. Moon Maid wrote a threatening note to Sparkle, as well. To date, nothing has come of any of these papers, that I am aware of.

I know it sounds too easy, but Abner doesn’t follow orders too well. He’s supposed to be a world-class hit man and he lets BB Eyes off, didn’t hit the gas button on Tracy….. Someone needs to take him out to the woodshed for disobedience! It’s obvious that Abner never had a drill instructor.

And stilldamatt, what’s with this drivel about gettin’ close to hanging it up? You know you can’t do that! Go check your grocery basket; I put an extra blanket and a pillow in there for you! And RWM has a gallon of Strawberry Hill to help you sleep on these nippy nights.

Silly question for all you fellow Dick Tracy fans out there. Are the current writers/artists, Joe Staton and Mike Curtis better than the creator, Chester Gould? Their storylines and artwork have been awesome as many of you have commented. I’m just asking, have they made Dick Tracy even better than Gould ever could have imagined?

SDM, I do care! I care so much that under the new blanket I gotcha, there is a can of WD40 to spray on the wheel bushings for the grocery cart. The guys under the bridge say they can hear you coming a long way off, and wakes them up when you come in late. I also included a screwdriver so you can remove Safeway’s name from the cart in case they come looking for their cart. The new plastic sign that says, “SITOANMI” should go on the side of the cart with the plastic zip ties taped to the screwdriver.

It reminds of your 2009 comic strip effort, on seemingly engaging in duplication again . . .As I recall, then you drew Batman (just leaving off the Bat Ears), and then added a facsimile of the Joker (even ‘called’ him that) – and then, launched this (original?) creation. Really nice 3 panel strip today. I got to say that I thought this story started out really well uninteresting, at least to me.But now I really like it and I’m enjoying where this story is going.

Rikki has her hands upside down like she is driving a car. That is a fundamental error with a buggy and 2 yoked horses. I am looking forward to seeing her and the boss both go to jail lock the door and through the key away … or no wait make the key just 1/4 of an inch out of reach, and after days reaching the key to find that it’s the wrong one. just lol
