Havenât watched Skiffy, er, SyFy, er Venereal Disease (look it up: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=syfy) since they took MST3K off the air, so we canât judge on any inability to follow the laws of physics, but we can vouch for its lack of credibility. Sharknado, indeedâŠ

The Polar Vortex visited us earlier, so I may have to agree with himâŠ.

@Kali39 â took your advice and went to the site and found:
â3. Name of a TV network that shows imagination-based programming to go with their illusionary ratings. Failing after a re-branding press release insulted its core audience. "
Well, I guess you could say WWE is fiction â the science part must come in fooling the viewers to think it is real!
And people make jokes about the Polish, when they nailed it!
â1. Co to za syfy? (Eng.: What is this crap?)â
Why, WWE on SyFy!!! Along with assorted grade âZâ movies (much lower than B grade â âZâ is the lowest I can go unless I use the Polish (or another) alphabet)!!!

Paulieâs so bored with Eddieâs stories he falls asleep during them, even when heâs living them!
Destiny23 almost 11 years ago
Paulie is blithely humming to himself,âȘ Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right! â«âȘ Here I am, stuck in the middle with you⊠â«
keenanthelibrarian almost 11 years ago
Donât come down too hard on the syfy (or scifi).
skrye almost 11 years ago
At least SyFy Channel movies are shooting for a lack of credibility and non-application of the laws of physics. Congress on the other handâŠ

This was actually happening on one of Jupiterâs moonsâŠ.

Hey! No dissing SyFy channel! They at least honestly admit and revel their absurdity!!
Beleck3 almost 11 years ago
the dig at Congress is very much appreciated. lol. too bad they donât blow up and away in to the sky like this comic

geneboecker almost 11 years ago
Definitely like congress and the SyFy channel. Especially that channel â and not just the movies.
puddlesplatt almost 11 years ago
Paulie singsâŠsend in the clownsâŠsorry, they are here.
mistercatworks almost 11 years ago
Especially in regards to Congressman in SyFy movies.
dabugger almost 11 years ago
Hey Eddie, dat ainât a vahtex, as ya call it. Like so much of the arctic, there are volcanos. But havta admit, you are a bigger âblowhardââŠâŠ

I can see the polar vortex affecting the laws of physics, but credibility?
Linda Pearson almost 11 years ago
I kinda like the analogy.
Defective almost 11 years ago
I havenât watched SciFi since they changed their name and thought wrestling was a good show to watch.
klunker rider almost 11 years ago

I was starting to think that C-Span was the SyFy channel.
cmugnier almost 11 years ago
There really IS such a thing. It is termed a âpingo mound.â and occurs in permafrost terrain. Itâs usually fatal to whomever was present at the time.
yyyguy almost 11 years ago
is an ice volcano similar to the ice tsunami i saw video of a couple of weeks back?
meowlin almost 11 years ago
As bad as SyFy Original Movies are, they provide much-needed job experience for beginning techs and special effects artists. The movies may be bad, but being able to cite any movie on oneâs resumĂ© is good.

Panel number 2 changed my mind about Wileyâs bears. I donât think Iâd buy them now.

I agree, Night. Yarn spinning is the essence of story telling (and I DO think thereâs a difference) and a basic form of human creativity and entertainment. Those who want reality can go toâŠwell, darned if I know, but donât snark about it not being here!
westny77 almost 11 years ago
There goes the animals.
Hunter7 almost 11 years ago
makes sense. Up to your hips in alligators. Polar bears thinking youâre a snack. What else is going to save you? .Unless that polar vortex picks you up and drops you off somewhere elseâŠ.
The Rolling Cat almost 11 years ago
I would say that the laws of cartoon physics apply here, which is to say⊠well, not none, but certainly negotiable.
