Well, I guess you could say WWE is fiction – the science part must come in fooling the viewers to think it is real!

There really IS such a thing. It is termed a “pingo mound.” and occurs in permafrost terrain. It’s usually fatal to whomever was present at the time.

As bad as SyFy Original Movies are, they provide much-needed job experience for beginning techs and special effects artists. The movies may be bad, but being able to cite any movie on one’s resumé is good.

Panel number 2 changed my mind about Wiley’s bears. I don’t think I’d buy them now.

I agree, Night. Yarn spinning is the essence of story telling (and I DO think there’s a difference) and a basic form of human creativity and entertainment. Those who want reality can go to…well, darned if I know, but don’t snark about it not being here!
