I’m afraid I just don’t get it, except that Jim is definitely having a hard time adjusting to being an anthro.

Could be they liked it in the heat of the moment, and are in shock now. Plus, do Topsiders ever get to experience physical contact? Either way, gotta be overwhelming…

my quick take is Jim was very satisfied about her, Sarah seems to be embarassed type mad.If they did try it, it either didn’t go off so well, or may be he was freaked by her scales. she isn’t pleased about what happened.

They have exposed tails now. They didn’t a couple days ago. They went into that room to “modify” the suits. I’m pretty sure they’ve got the right kind of knife to cut holes in the pants so the tails can stick out.

I think Wally needs to introduce Sarah to his pal Trace (Jan. 30, 2013 strip). They would probably be more compatible. Maybe Jim could hook up with LInda.

It is just something that they will have to work through,.It could be as simple as that they have never seen or touched anything except through the suits..Even normal bodily function could be totally new to them.

Hard to say what it is. Between Jim’s words and his eyes in the third panel I’d say that he was shocked by something. They would have had to have removed the biosuits to alter them so it could be as simple as trying to adjust to a girlfriend with scales or discovering that their equipment is more zoomorphic than anthromorphic. If they tried to get it together, they definitely got dressed in a hurry.

Y’know, I can think of any number of other impolite things to say about what might be happening between Jim and Sarah…but I don’t know how thoroughly these boards are monitored and to what standards we’re all held. I was under the impression things were supposed to be family friendly, but that might just be my impression, and maybe anything goes.#But if anything goes, I wouldn’t want this discussion to degenerate into what I find on some of the sites that carry “Mary Worth”—-several dozen comments a day on certain aspects of their lives I doubt the characters would consider if they were real people. Distressing to wade through.

If Jim’s equipment now resembles that of a raccoon, they may be having some “geometry problems” that they didn’t have to solve in High School.

Well we think that too but nothing has been stated yet it even works. That’s one question I have been pondering over the story. A rocket did launch but is the satellite functioning?? The story will unfold (4 panel by 4 panel…arrgghhh).I did not mean to say it was not real but hedging on functioning till more info is gathered or shall I say given out.
