Please, Please, Please let Wally and Holly escape with at least one functional zerogun, if they work and don’t emit a locator and distress beacon. sigh Remember to support your artist and bid on original art, buy books, posters, T-Shirts, glassware and all the Endtown merchandise you can afford without harming yourself. Also if you just want to donate $2 or $200 use the donate button at the auction site to the right, or in the Endtown discussion forums. We should use the Underground forum at Endtown.com more often.

    aaronneathery@gmail.com

Is still the best way to CONTACT AARON to buy Endtown Volumes 3 & 4, and or any prints listed on the auction site, remembering there is a quantity discount on prints if you order more than one at a time. Also, do everyone you meet or know a favor by recommending Endtown and Doc Rat . Level_Head has contributed so much to both artists and their work, with good reason: Both Comic Strips are that Great. So feel free to flood their inboxes or personal message accounts at CrossTimeCafe website, commenting or complimenting them on their works.I have noticed new commenters here and at Doc Rat’s Forum at CrossTimeCafe. SurfStuff55 has already welcomed the new commenters, and Nightstar and TK are handing out welcome baskets. I extend my most hearty welcome and encourage all to participate, read the archives, and feel free to ask questions and hang out with the cool kids. Voting at TopWebComics to elevate the visibility of two of the best comic strips/graphic novels ever.

. Vote ENDTOWN . Vote Doc Rat . Vote Hubris . Vote Kevin and Kell . Sincerely, . JusSayin PS: Comments rarely have to be this long. In response to suggestions, I will post shorter posts on average, but usually for each strip, I will try to make the appeal to promote and support Endtown and Doc Rat. A Warm Welcome to our new Endtown Colleagues, and much respect to our already present colleagues.

Oh yes, perhaps the winning bidders for original art would like to use Underground Art to show off their art or the mounts they have made for their prints. Aaron’s Complete Site contains other stories and opportunities. Sincerely and Respectfully, JusSayin

Sounds more and more like there is open country out there some where. Could be very “interesting”. Mutant communities on the surface, perhaps? Or at least mutants less under pressure of APEX attention.

A total aside, was wondering if the dusted areas have established whole monster ecologies. After all this time, without something to keep them going, the monsters would have died out, as you can only eat so many of your fellows before running out.

wow! Holly was fast! Rodents generally have razor sharp teeth, since they have to gnaw to keep them from growing too much.Don’t know as much about mice, but rats teeth can spread apart some so they get a grip that can’t be loose from easily.Holly can be like, with a comparison to LSOS, a tiny ball of fury. (the other was a basketball of fury) or something close to that.

Mouse bite! Modesty aside, the fact they were willing to remain in their uniforms despite such a radical change in appearance and stature, speaks volumes as to their true allegiance. If one thinks about it for a minute, even anthros dressed in Topsider uniforms would be “kill on sight” to both Topsiders and Anthros alike.A few weeks back I postulated the concept that this was a mission of infiltration on the part of the topsiders. They haven’t conquered the Earth yet….. Yet.The topsiders seem to hold dominion over the skies and the surface as well. What is there left to conquer? The hidden underground cities. What else would there be left for them to to go after?Even though Jim and Sarah are at odds with each other on a personal level there seems to be a mission that overrides the schism that has fractured their relationship to each other.Perhaps we’ll find out his week whats going on, perhaps not, given Mr. Neathery’s penchant for cliff hangers.(Crosses fingers)

I’m not inclined to think that anybody’s going to shoot anybody—-and for all we can tell, Sarah may be drawing a bead on Jim rather than Wally. Time will tell, I suppose. That or a quick ditto-disappearing act the first time their backs are turned…

I hope Holly didn’t ruin any teeth. That fabric’s supposed to be impervious. The rest of the world could be like After Earth, or the world of Kamandi, or Hillside could be like Shyamalan’s Village or a paranoid neighborhood like in “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street”. Of course it’s not going to be like any of that.

I prefer the “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” scenario. The rest of the world is normal, but Hillside went to hell because the cable is out.

This is ridiculous. Jim and Sarah should be bargaining because Wally might want what they have as well, and now that the two of them are ALSO societal pariahs, they have to stick together and trust each other out of their own self-interest.

I can’t really comprehend why they’re fighting this partnering thing, despite any personal faults they are pretty much the ideal guides and there is safety in numbers.

I think this is the first time a character bit another, which is interesting in that it might signal the mutants becoming more animal-like.

By the way, the current scene now has a cast of eight. Wally, Holly, Jim, Sarah, Clive, the dittoes (if they count as one)…and whatever poor souls are trapped in the two Zero guns…

Bad positioning make that move unusable. Holly is in the line of fire chomping on Jims arm. Even if Wally ducked when Sarah fires, Jim and Holly are in the path. That is why the weapon is not aimed at the back of Wally’s head. Check the angle….she is aiming just over top right at Holly and Jim locked in a biting embrace.Like I mentioned earlier I believe Sarah is the more dangerous one in this story. She did the research and convinced Jim to join her out of “love”. Now that she has what she wanted does she even maintain the relationship?? After his outburst probably at seeing what she has become she may be rethinking their relationship.

I have a feeling Sarah is pointing her Z-gun WITH Wally, not AT him. Given how the pair exited Clive, with Sarah really mad at Jim, I can’t see her wanting to keep his company…

One strange thing though: in the first panel Jim has a non-aggressive expression on his face, almost as though he and Wally had quite a chat between yesterday and today. He now looks like he’s trying to educate Wally, not execute him…

Who are the lucrainians? seems like Sarah becoming a reptile is exactly what fits her new role as a strong female baddie.

Maybe Jim and Sarah’s behaviour is giving my theory on mutant change some premise. Jim is a bit of a backstabber, now hence a racoon, an opportunistic scavenger. Sarah is cold and calculating, now a lizard. She probably had rebuffed Jim’s affection for her. Anyone want to comment on this? Rebuff, support or other?

How cool would it be if Petey, showed up right now, and bit Sarah and was an old friend of Clive’s? Especially if he grabbed Sarah by the throat, until she cried, MERCY! Because Wally’s hide could be saved, by Robot Number 3.
