Love this! …I am not awake yet this morning, I guess. I read Peanuts daily, so it took until the frame with the computer in it for it to ‘click’ with me that I wasn’t, in fact, reading Peanuts. Not very observant of me, I know.…Great job, guys!
Great, I love it! It threw me for a second too when it came up. I was just thinking about how much I enjoyed the “historic” WD strips and how much I looked forward to them each Sunday. This is completely different of course, but just as enjoyable, if not more so.Glad also to see that Sue made it in there, with her green earrings!
Someone had mentioned not that long ago that Rita resembled a grownup Lucy. Is that only a coincidence? Given that Lucy is wearing the same color as Rita, I tend to doubt it. And assorted oddities aside (as it might appear in a dream), it really does look like a Peanuts strip. Although plenty of other cartoonists have borrowed that style on occasion, this is one of the best (if not the best) renditions I’ve ever seen.

Well, well, THIS is what I was expecting during the “History of Working Daze”.

Yes, Jay does share his name with an ex-baseball player but that’s just cause I like the sound Jay Johnstone…

Poor Jay! He doesn’t even have any zig-zags to his shirt pattern to make him more interesting to the little gals. LOVE all the transformations BTW.

“I can’t stand it.” J/K, this is actually very clever and well drawn.
