So, just a Tracy trophy shot for Angus!

I think Angus has taken leave of his senses!

So, Angus did recover his gun. I wondered about that yesterday. And he’s out to shoot Tracy from his new “vantage point.” He’s pretty far away to aim accurately and his hand is also looking a little shaky. I don’t think he can avoid getting shot back at once he fires, so he’d better aim carefully!

It’s like Clue… “I’ll say Montana Joe, with the lasso, on the tower.”

I’m betting when the story is wrapped up, Montana Joe ends up with the horse somehow.

Oh, this is too obvious, Montana Joe to the rescue. I’d rather Kolossal come back to life as a zombie and strangle Angus, lol

I’m not sure the “recovered gun” was originally Tabby’s. He was shown carrying what appeared to be a Luger. This gun is less readily recognizable, but does not look at all like a Luger. Maybe in the big melee he “recovered” Tracy’s gun? In which case, does Tracy now have Angus’s Luger? From his precarious perch on the ladder, and with an unfamiliar gun, and at that distance, it would be sheer luck if Angus were able to hit Tracy. More likely, falling off the ladder his big body would hit Tracy….

I’m guessing the shot goes wide and hit Sparkplug

So will Blackjack suddenly appear and save Tracy again?

Perhaps Montana Slim grabbed his Ol’ 30-06 outta the gun rack in the truck and has a bead drawn on Angus!

Another fedora for Tracy’s “you missed me” board?

Where does Angus think this will wind up with cops all around the tower and him having nowhere to go? Really?

Montana Joe is either gonna rope Angus or push him from the antenna.. wanna take odds? (btw, i am calling right now that Angus’ horse Sparkplug will become Montana joe’s property now)

Montana Joe to the rescue. Or maybe Gertie or Sparkle will shoot Angus. That would be an interesting twist.

Let’s see – Sunday, everyone loved the story, Monday they hated it, Tuesday…(The comments of the last few days made me think of somebody reading a book, and saying, “Well, that page was pretty dull. I wonder what happens next page…”)-—Meanwhile, I keep enjoying the story.

Tracy gets another ‘Hole-in-the-hat’ trophy, Angus’ shot goes wild and hits Nightmare.Angus yells ‘Noooooo..!!!’ and falls to his death.

Please look at the cartoon panels…Tracy isn’t wearing a hat. Pretty hard to put a bullet hole in a hat that’s still lying in the studio!!

Angus is going to fall off the tower and accidentally shoot himself dead fish dead.

The smart move would be for the PoPo to get outta Angus’ range (like below the tower) and wait him out. The PC Police aren’t going to let Sparkplug get shot. It’s gonna get pretty hot and dry up there! Attaching a 440 volt cable to the ladder might be amusing, too!

Lightning has to hit the tower so Angus can fall off and be stomped by his horse. I’ll bet with this creative* team, it won’t take him two weeks to hit the ground.

*It’s nice to use the word unironically.

Methinks this isn’t going to work out well for Tabby. Don’t see him getting out of this.

Regarding my comment yesterday on why WDQP is an AM station – .See the tower design on 5/25/14. No FM array. Antenna has “radio sparks” coming from it. Typical low power (5KW or so) local station. That style antenna will have insulators at the base of each leg – for a REAL good reason. 50 years experience in transmitting. .Now as to how Angus got close to the ladder/antenna…? 8^)

Every generation who have ever read this iconic comic stripknows that they will “never kill a cop in a comic strip”!

You beat me to it by about 2 minutes. Groovy Grove died in the line of duty on December 30, 1984, after 14 years in the strip.

Puzz, I know three (3) nay-sayers who picked it to pieces every chance they got! And they were regulars, too! But you are right – they have disappeared, together, if that means anything.
