Oh my goodness! I love this limo…where did you find it? Hmmm…wonder if I could talk my husband into a third wedding. They say third times a charm. He doesn’t think we need any more charm after almost 40 years, and he would probably want to paint it black.

Aaron was in most of the early strips. Didn’t know who Luann was. At first he seemed very innocent of all boy-girl things..BUTThen he became more interesting. Knew who Luann was.But Tiffany was always all over him. He was attracted to Tiff some. Not clear how much..For a while, Aaron paid a bit of attention to Luann.They wrote together, joked, got locked in the library.There seemed to be some chance for Luann with Aaron..He summers in Maine. - Has a deaf girlfriend there.Luann thinks she is fictional. Why would he invent such a girlfriend? Does Luann think that Aaron is inventing a bogus girlfriend to insulate himself from her?Later Luann is surprised to learn the girl is real.Aaron has even bothered to learn sign language.But rather soon, the deaf girl dumps Aaron.Not clear why..Luann even had some dates with Aaron. Situations usually odd.Nancy was angry once because Aaron did not kiss Luann when he brought her home from a date. Luann was worried about it.Yet they become a sort of couple, but only more or less friends — at least it seemed. Luann would like more.Then Aaron gets deeply entangled (secretly) with a much older girl, Diane.Maybe he was seduced by her? Not clear.Luann finds them out.The mutual feeling is that he has sort of “cheated on” Luann..Then he goes off to Hawaii.Luann see him there, but he turns up with a Chinese girlfriend. He seems apologetic to Luann, which makes little sense if they had no commitment.He later tells Luann by e-mail that he has broken up with the Chinese girl, not clear why. Did she dump him?.Aaron tries to contact Luann by e-mail. She is fed up with him.Yet she still has the occasional dream about him..So Aaron was not so boring a character. Attracts females. Has his defects.Not clear exactly what.

So we’re not going to see any of the college story, we’ll just go through 8 years of the memory book and boom they’ll be married with kids.

It’s not really “Luann Again” since these takes place before “Luann Again”.

Ok. Well, I have nothing to comment on or add about today’s comic. I am just going to sit patiently and hope we return to the current time line on Monday. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++In regards to the current time line stories…. Dez… I have been debating in my mind about whether Dez will be a surprisingly great roommate or a horror roommate. I am leaning now towards a discovery that Dez, with all her very quirky “friends” and “decorations” will be in the end, we discover, a character that is very much like Bernice of long ago… rather meek, quiet, and reserved. I think it will be a nice foil from which Greg may further let Bernice blossom more. I think the “meek, quiet” Dez fits well into the pattern thus far… she is being asked to help out all of the quirky friends with their needs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++In regards to Rosa and Gunther, I am going to predict that the next step will be that they both are a bit disillusioned, and decide to head back to the US…. but that there will be some “crazy” hijinks that occur on their travels to attempt to get back… leading to a bunch of funny and fun story lines. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Toni and Brad…and TJ…. and Shannon…. not sure what to predict as yet. So, no current ideas. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Luann, Quill, and Luann at CC…. I still think there is a good chance that Fogarty will show up as one of her instructors as an adjunct instructor. Quill…. perhaps we will see him in a class at Moony…. and perhaps there will be a conflict in that he gets pursued by another female student.

Ouch – this one hits home!*Sorry, Lu, but those of us with TWO left feet never get it right. Couldn’t dance in elementary, couldn’t boogey in high school or college.*Tried aerobic line dancing a couple months ago. Beginners’ class. Still have two left feet!

I know illustrating can be hard, but given the normal 8 hour work day, I find it hard to believe it takes 8 hours to draw one comic strip, especially when a Sunday strip can be comparable to 3 days worth of strips.-In this situation it’s fine given the circumstances, but repeat strips are normally a slap in the face to your fans.”

Re: Speculations about “Dez” from the actually current story-line: My guess is that Dez will turn out to be a guy. The name is pretty non gender specific, and Bernice has already commented something like, “The only thing we know about Dez is that she’s a big city girl.” So, it would be funny if even that turned out to have been wrong. Nowadays, with co-ed dorms, I wouldn’t be surprised if a college set up a co-ed roommate (or did it by mistake).

At the same time instead of seeing if the new artist can draw them older, we just see he can draw them young.

Why are the first part of everyone comment sections filled with inane song titles? Such a waste of space and makes Luann’s comment sections unreadable.

This is, IMO, one of the weakest strips in the entire Luann series. I see no point in having it here at all..Delta was once a stereotyped black kid, into“expected things,” like loud music, wild dancing, etc. Greg gave her a new persona, a dedicated do-gooder. .Big switch..Now we are back. why ???

Has Luann ever before been depicted as a poor dancer?.Her interest in all the school dances, the prom, starring in the school musical, etc. does not show her in that light. .Sure she can be a klutz at times. But this strip is just not Luann.
