Uh… I don’t know whether to feel as surprised as John or to laugh at his misfortune.

Farley’s just saying he loves you.(That always made me feel better.)

When I was a kid my mom would put a dab of jelly on my nose. my dog would jump on my bed and lick me up until I woke up and got ready for school :) smart mom :)

Unless it’s a just nap after a nice steak or roast dinner, how good could “morning breath” taste?

I’m just glad to see Farley. His visits to the strip are so few and far between ! ! ! ! ! !!

It does kind of look like he’s wearing the same clothes, except the shirt was a different color (but maybe that’s a colorist’s goof)…

I can’t wait to see what the Elly haters will make up to snipe at Elly about on this cartoon. Probably blame her for Farley’s behavior…

I call that being “schnozzled” – portmanteau of “schnozz” and “muzzle.” Dogs and naps on the sofa are a difficult combination.

At least Farley waited for John to wake up first.

My dog sits in waiting for me to flutter an eyelash in the morning, then she licks whatever part of me is sticking out from under the covers. If I’m lucky, it’s my hand!

With Mikey (black lab), it wasn’t affection. It was, “Are you going to walk me, or what????”

My German Shepard does that to me all the time.

Oh my, gross. He just licked the toilet, his private parts, the sidewalk, another dog and an old shoe. Come here John, this one’s for you. LOL, LOL, LOL heeeee heeee

I have trained out dog not to jump and / or lick anyone, unless, she is petted and even then she looks for permission. I just hate, hate when people’s dogs do that when we visit them..Now that my 92 year old Mother lives with us and we have daily care workers coming in, they all appreciate that our dog doesn’t “greet” them, since some of them are really scared of dogs because of previous bad experiences.

I read this comic, and my thought for it was “Awww!”

Fits my daughter’s dog to a T. She does that to me all the time.

Misfortune? Farley loves his daddy so he gave him doggy kisses. Doggy kisses are the best
