Yup, Mel is not going to get away from Gruesome. Gruesome has him trapped right where he wants him, so he’d better some up with that money. (Likely ill-gotten gains, I’m thinking.)

Mel recognized his voice, of course, otherwise he would not have recognized him right away with the new face.

I’m thinkin’ Mel needs a trip to the little boys room right about now…

Mel ODIE. Isn’t he supposed to be a dog? ;-} Maybe he wants to hide as one for Halloween now that Gruesome’s around. Have a good one, all.

What unwholesome pursuit Mel O. Dee has been involved in with Gruesome (in his former face), we don’t know, but Gruesome leaves no doubt that Dee is in debt and deep doodoo. The serendipitous appearance of “Christopher Cushing” in the cast of Dee’s play works out well for everyone except Dee (who is pretty definitely the producer, judging from today’s dialogue). Can Dr. Einstein be long in joining as Dr. Einstein?

Mel needs to go ahead and kill Gruesome while he has the chance. Then, look for another Jonathan.

I’m thinking Gruesome and Mel O. Dee may have different definitions of “soon.” Mel looks a bit like a young Mel Torme.Happy Halloween!
