Yeah, that’s pretty much my reaction to cheerful morning people, too.

A lot of cities (and this website) would have cancelled this

strip had Lewis and Fry really shown RJ doing that (especially on Sunday of all days). Smart thinking, you two.

Of course there’s a nice dual meaning to what RJ says in the final frame. Second mouse gets the cheese, and all that. Sign language not included.

Is there any reason for daylights saving??

Well, he’s passed the driving test for NJ. Issue him a license.

I was expecting an actual bird to come swooping down on the worm.Real nice unexpected alternative we got instead.

I thought he was pushing the flowers at the worm. Should try to switch on my brain before getting up.

I get up the minute the sun comes in my bedroom window. My window faces the west.

With that gesture, RJ was acting as fresh as a daisy.

Was it some kind of hummingbird? Must be a small bird to be able to hide behind a flower like that…

As I’ve always said …

The early bird can have the stupid worm, because mornings and worms stink.

I’m surprised Pastis didn’t do this—-maybe with Rat doing the honors! : – )
