Paul Dillon got no mention when Gil talked to Marjie. As for how he gets people out, he’s a lefty. Enough said.

For some reason, I have a sudden urge to purchase a swimming pool.

What a novel idea. The coaches actually showing up for a Milford game. Who’da thunk it.

What’s the over-under on the number of pitches Tru throws before he blows out his elbow? The good news for him is the Nationals will still draft him in the 1st round.

Well … maybe we’ll be lucky and Milford picks up another run so the slaughter rule gets invoked..Huh. Lucky. Not. Hey, was that a peacock in the warning track?

Dillon is inspiring, overcoming that hip dysplasia to succeed as a pitcher.

Tru(e)‘s EES may put him on the DL before the 7th. And we’ve been seeing golf balls on the field all week. Will someone please get a baseball into the game before Dillon hurts his arm?

Paul Dillon. Haven’t heard that name since last June. He may not be Jarvis White or Larry Cutter, but he has a Moyer-like effectiveness. P3- True: “Uhh, State Champ? I’m sorta busy planning my next road trip to Hawaii with the Boo Girl.”

In all reality , note the unique pitching mound in P 2 . Anyone ever see one with a sidewalk ditectly in front of it ?

I wonder if Gil’s jacket has “State Champ” embroidered on the front?

The words in P2 are in quotes, but who’s talking? Kaz? He was the last one speaking in P1, I think. But it’s hard to tell since his mouth appears to be closed. Why would either Gil or Kaz say that anyway? While they might say it to someone who isn’t familiar with how Dillon pitches, why would they say it to each other? Wait. I’m looking for logic in GilWorld. Never mind.

So, my guess is the spring storyline will be about Boo and Tru hooking up. Yes, the Rubin/Wigham tandem (“RubHam”?) is going Tru/Boo this spring

There’s a subliminal message in the outfield. Which, by me saying this, means it’s actually not subliminal.

If you step outside the frame of the strip (as Dillon is doing in P2), isn’t that considered a balk?

Does anyone else picture Ellisburkes speaking like (s)he does here in real life, all day every day? His/her spouse would be, “GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!”Speaking of taking it, you know you want to take in some Mopped Up Thorp.

I think that’s what they used to call a Hacky-Sack. The girls play softball, the boys play hard to-see ball.

Bitsy, did she get her name from A Streetcar named Boo? or Boo on a Hot Tin Roofie?
