Uh-oh. Something doesn’t seem right when the boss called Tiffany in.

Principal Jawbone’s summons seems foreboding. Pink-slip time for Tiff? At least she doesn’t need the job, financially.

Luann is not gonna leave this alone.

Tiff all image and all flirty, but her web is not really dangerous if we talking homeruns, just simple manipulation

So much prejudice surrounding this girl. SMH.

It seems to me most boys have been able to escape Tiffs “web”. Has she been with anyone we know of for any length of time?

Luann, Gunther has spent several months alone with Rosa in Peru, and you seem OK with that. But now you don’t think Gunther can spend one evening alone with Tiffany in her dorm room? You aren’t his guardian. Let it go.

Will Luann be the next person to be “called into the Principal’s Office”? Good things seldom emerge from that situation.

If nothing else Tiff tolerated, perhaps even enjoyed, being alone with Gunther for an entire evening. That’s a dramatic difference in her treatment of him heretofore.

luann gets the BFSwhile Tiff has never gotten a long term thing and Tiff gets them to hover around her while Luann never gets boys to hover around her(with exception of when she was Zeye)

Luann has a knee-jerk reaction automatically to believe that Tiffany is a man-eater, simply because everybody of course just knows that that’s Tiff’s very raison d’etre. In other words, Luann is a poster on GoComics. I wonder what her screen ID is, around here?

Well GEE. What the HECK, Do YOU Care About What Tiff Does or Doesn’t Do with Gunther, Luann?

You Know, I Remember a Time, Long Ago, where a Certain Gunther Berger Helped a Certain Luann DeGroot with HER Homework while sitting on a Couch. Not unlike the one He and Tiffany sat on Last Week. Helped Luann get a Passing Grade Too. Then, He Stole a innocent Kiss, Which THAT Luann Thoroughly Enjoyed.…..,But It NEVER Got Any further Than That Because That Gunther Wasn’t Her (COUGH, GAG) “Type.”

Some of were hoping something happened with Gunther and Tiff – because Gunther has to get past a major roadblock – and if Tiffany can’t get him there – who can? And I think Gunther and Tiffany would be much more interesting than Gunther somehow winding up with Luann. And don’t forget – Tiffany IS lonely…

Luann makes an assumption,l and it’s gospel. Though I will point out this proves Luann thinks Tiffany is a whore but hey Luann will be able to go back and tell Gunther she slut shamed someone who took interest in him.

Gunther may be a quivering dweeb much of the time but for whatever reasons he has been, inadvertently mostly, able to access hints of sweetness and vulnerability in Tiffany to which she is almost entirely oblivious. She needs him far more than she can presently admit. Aside from all that a real relationship with Gunther would be quite stormy with nearly endless comic possibilities.

Actually, I don’t think Luann’s being protective of Gunther, just curious. Much as Quill was. And Tiffany is acting like a normal human being – I think she really likes him.

And that’s all the time we have for this storyline. Join us tomorrow as we start another storyline that will go nowhere.

Luann is very protective of Gunther and she figures that any involvement with Tiffany would be dangerous for him.

Innocent boys can’t escape her web? To paraphrase Marge Gunderson, I’m afraid I can’t quite agree with your police work, Luann.

I hope Gunther turns out to be pregnant.

Just as Tiffany was attempting to set Luann straight, she gets called into the principal’s office? What strange twist of fate awaits? Will she be fired? Quizzed about rumors spreading on the web? Something totally unforeseeable?

I doubt that Tiffany has a “Bill – Monica” thing going with her boss. Also we have had a peek at the au naturel Tiff and she was a cute, somewhat shy little girl trying to be nice to Gunther. Underneath the makeup, the image, and the attitude, Tiffany just might be worth the effort.

It’s amazing how well Team Evans set up our discussion— they knew weeks in advance exactly what we would be thinking and are putting the words in Tiff’s mouth.

I think he will be calling Tiffany in for a good reason. They want her to promote something and she is good at that. Or maybe organize some event. She’s organized several events for her high school.

I like the way Tiff handles Luann. She treats Luann’s catty insults as compliments. Tiffany comes off more mature and nicer than Luann.

Boss: “Let me introduce you to your new supervisor, Ann Eiffel.”

I don’t think this is meant to be that kind of comic.

I find it interesting how so many people assumed that Rosa was a slut with Gunther, but now Gunther’s a virgin all over again. Way to go with the stereotypes!

(Ruminating with a bowl of vanilla tinctured burley in my pipe as I predict:)1a. I am going to predict that the daycare (or school) principal is going to call Tiffany in to tell her that he received a phone call from an acting Internship out in New York City…. the same Internship that Quill applied to. Tiffany put the principal down as a reference, and he will tell Tiffany how he gave her a good performance evaluation. 1b. This will set the stage for Tiffany and Quill (and maybe Luann) to all head to New York. 2. I do not like Luann’s “Because You’re You.” comment. It is too mean-spirited for a college aged Luann to say. I am disappointed. 3. The question mark at the end of “Uh, Yeah?” in Luann’s statement seems oddly incorrect to me. It seems more like an “!” or a simple “.” would have been how Luann would have punctuated the statement. A question mark sort-of inflection seems odd.

I think Tiff was going to say that they spent the evening talking about Rosa

`Ya know, Peru wouldn’t be a bad summer job for Gunther. He was valued by the clinic and it would open up the possibility of seeing Rosa again. I like the idea of seeing how the last few months have changed her.

Rosa’s liable to show back up this summer finally on her way to college. Tiff and Rosa vying for Gunther’s affection. Now that would be a hoot.

Plot reminds me of the Everly Brothers’ song from the 50s, “Wake up little Suzie”. Boy and girl fall asleep at the drive-in movies and wake up late, embarrassed and thinking “their reputation is shot.” I think Gunther and Tiffany just fell asleep together on the sofa and woke up also embarrassed.

as it was shown in a boy meets world episode, usually(or people mostly assume) guys are more likely to say nothing but make it look like something happened and girls are ones more likely to be looked down on while the guy is praised

Because you’re you” must be a not-so-subtle nod by Evans to “Because you’re a popular cheerleader stereotype and I let casual readers assume you get all the guys”. Anyone that reads this strip constantly should know that’s not the case though. Tiffany has guys attracted to her physically, but that’s it, nothing ever happens. . . . "-—————————That’s right. Half the football team dated her, apparently none got beyond first base (wrong sport). .Some may have bragged though (told lies).

sadly, I can easily see kind of the same, even to the point that in girl meets world Lucas and Riley were expected to act way schoolmates expected as girlfriend and boyfriend just because they kissed and rush them into something they were not ready for, yet.

I meant Tiffany is going to hear that her dad is very sick. BTW, he lives in NYC.

I am still going to predict that the daycare “boss” (who looks like Dick York, IMO) is going to call Tiffany in to tell her that he received a phone call from some place in NYC about an acting Internship out in New York City…. the same Internship that Quill applied to. much ado about possibly nothing, I can see Tiff wanting to get “first date gifts” and people to go very fancy for a “date with Tiffany Farrell” but that is not synonym with “getting to home base with her”

and if it was for “BF/GF” status and hierarchy, she would have gone with just the starting QB, so with the exception of Aaron(and stick it to Luann) I can’t see her going with anyone more than once ………..and now that I wrote this, I think Tiffany saw “Luann’s potential” and becoming an actual rival if she started having confidence on herself and going glamour in style, as Luann in many ways(aside from Tiff’s money and intelligence when compared to Tiff, which is mostly by tiff’s lazyness) is similar to Tiffany

Well, I guess nothing happened between them. I was kind of hoping that something did, and thought so because Gunther said “this Tiffany thing” and wants to keep it a secret. Why does he want to keep the fact that Tiff is his lab partner and that they worked on a class project together a secret??

I think Tiff’s webcam was on and the video has gone viral; her boss just saw the video.
