DOESN’T LOOK GOOD FOR JIMMY! BUT, by the same token, Team Tracy always surprises! Stay tuned!

Good morning Team Tracy fans. Will Jimmy live or die? Based on panel 1, maybe the ladder will hit him in the head knocking him into the whirlpool. Or maybe Team Tracy is throwing us a red herring? Be happy and healthy my friends.

I like the splash in the first panel as some more land with trees on it slides into the water.

Jimmy is panicky and, to put it mildly, out of shape. The helicopter is being tossed about by localized turbulence. I have a feeling Jimmy and that aerial ladder will never quite meet, and that Jimmy is going to fall overboard and be sucked down to his well-deserved doom. The weed of crime bears bitter fruit. Crime doe not pay!

First—since my eyes are in it, How can I watch my head? Wouldn’t watching the ladder be better?

Second—What is Tellum compensating for? (Note the name of the boat…)

He jumps and yet, with cigar wet, it’s gravity that wins. Whirlpool welcomes with liquid embrace, as Jimmy sinks and spins. So long, Choo Shooz. You lose.

We still must remember that Jimmy is a killer / murderer not to mention a thief … and cross eyed, knock kneed, humpback , potbellied and just plain old not at all pleasant to be near.I cannot help but to wonder what Ted Tellem is thinking right about now?

Nothing about Jimmy is well thought out – including the way he’s trying to reach that ladder. My money’s on that boat tipping, and Chooy hitting the water.I admit it. I really want this guy to go down the drain.

Okay – tomorrow we cut to a three-panel strip showing Slim and the two other mustache guys “holding down the fort” (doing nothing) at each of their respective OTBs! (Just kidding!!! I love how they’ve not “cut away” from this for several days.)

Wow this is definitely some major turbulence going on here! It’s caused the ladder to move from first the right side of the birdie to then disappearing and now its on the left side! heavens to Murgatroid! Are we in the Bermuda Triangle? LOL!PS, RWM and I just got back from a long weekend retreat at a anger management seminar! glad you guys missed us! LOL!

Excellent and exciting story, dashed with Pequod’s poetry, makes great reading.

Question to the DT vets: I don’t think I have ever seen Tracy’s mouth so wide open before, let alone with teeth showing.

When he talks, he’s drawn with his mouth closed, square-jaw and all, while others were shown with open mouths when they speak.

I suppose it’s because he’s barking on the megaphone, I get that, but was he ever shown that way before?

Addendum: More shorefront disappearing in the background. Will Tellum’s home be next?

Will he complain Tracy didn’t do enough to save his house rather than rescue Jimmy Choo Shooz?

(…if Jimmy survives, that is. From the look of the last panel, Jimmy is going to “miss it by thatmuch.”)

Tracy had better check with Breezy about the load capacity of that chopper before he invites another 350 pound payload. Maybe he needs to check the local Navy Air Station for a Huey. Our PoPo choppers are 2-person. A Bell 206 Jet Ranger will probably be maxed out with Moby Dick aboard, assuming Breezy didn’t eat breakfast.

Looking more carefully at the third panel, the boat motor is already mostly underwater at the centre of the whirlpool and the bow is pointed up toward the sky. If you look at the curved lines in the top left and bottom right of the panel, the stern of the boat is right in the middle of the whirlpool.

In a split second, both the boat and Jimmy will be sucked under the water, never to be seen again, unless the whirlpool coughs them back up again later on, but Jimmy will be dead by then.

I guess this can go either way. We’ll just have to wait and see. I don’t think they considered Jimmy’s weight overload and are just doing what they can to save him. What would they do if his weight started pulling the copter down? I don’t think that would happen, though. Just speculating.

I noticed a lot of nice comments from many people today. I think the tone here has definitely been on the upswing. This is what I like to see. So many other strips have a lot of hostile remarks going back and forth and I’ve stopped reading those. I haven’t been commenting long but I think we in Tracyland have one of the best groups around.
