Never go walking in the heat with out a hat and some COLD water, not only to drink but to cool off your head or face. I make a point of only going out when absolutely necessary and early in the morning. Too Hot!!! Supposed to be 105 here with high humidity by the end of this week……..phewww!
Looks like dehydration or heat exhaustion. Where is her hat, H20 bottle & sunglasses? It is the hottest month of the year. I hope the neighbor runs out there & calls 911 and/or Arlo.
Along with the wonky sidewalk and bush, the wobbly, out of control legs and the seeing stars, another detail I like is the size of this fellow’s ears. A Boo Radley reference would be very timely, too. Good idea, Marilyn! Even if it doesn’t turn out to be the case, the way this man seems to be looking out from the shadows and darkness is very evocative.
That’s how I looked when that happened to me. Only I was a racetrack watching qualifying with sun beating down on me for hours. Everything got all wavy and fuzzy and it was like I was in a tunnel and voices seemed far away. My husband got me into the shade and got me cooled off. When I got home I slept for 6 hours, had a terrible headache, and to make matters worse Bill Elliott got the pole! I was more disappointed not seeing that than anything!!

No hat, no water, walking in the full sun. We used to call such people idiot tourists, or just tourists.

As you age, your body loses it’s ability to deal with environmental extremes. Especially heat/humidity. Just don’t tell Janis that she’s getting old!

“Call police.”
It’s not a police problem but a medical problem.

JimT8: Police today don’t deal with medical problems except to start shooting. Even being white won’t help if it is medical.

notice the sidewalk and the bush in the 3 panel. She started getting dizzy and she knew to lie down before she fell down.
