In all reality , laying down in front of a runner and kicking your legs is not an effective tackling technique .

Well Gil, it looks like that slip&slide tackling drill you tried this summer is a bust.

The State Champs give up 30 in the first game. What happened to those cool linemen. Sounds to me like they need Silent John Pascoe back.

Who exactly is on strike in P3? The readers?

I am sometimes shocked at the lack of attendance at these games. A few folks in the crowd for the cameras, but other than that, nothing but darkness and stars. People are probably just staying home listening to Marty’s radio feed on their transistor radios.

Last year J-Rod wore #7, even though it was True’s “non-negotiable” brand. If perhaps rules required him to switch numbers for his new position (whatever that is), True should have grabbed #7. Football is SO confusing!

Gil’s a genius! The whole idea is to confuse opposing defenses. So in P-1 he calls “a track meet”. Unfortunately, early in the year, the Milford defender thought he meant plant your face in the “field”. With the game on the line, he has Tru become his baseball closer. That’s how he learned to throw strikes. Next week we “pick and roll” past Central.

P3- The local optometrists in Milford will very busy this Fall if the Mudlarks experience EES after every score.
