At least all of mine will run out to greet their cat sitter for attention.

2 of my 6 will attempt to love the cat sitter to death. 2 will completely ignore him/her and the other 2 will hide until said intruder is gone.

I wonder if this is what our 3 cats will be thinking for the next 12 days. Our old sitter moved and the neighbor across the street will be doing it now. I told her she probably wouldn’t see 2 of them for the first 3 days. Then they will be her new BFF.

She is here to ‘sit on cats’ – funny! Can’t wait till they bring in the new little one.

Each one is following an archetype behavior for cats with strangers….funny. I have done cat sitting for friends with 3 cats a few times and I as a rule always wear jeans for my visits. The Elvis ankle attack has happened a couple of times….until I put new food out, then the cat who does attacks ignores me for the rest of my visit.

Lupin’s “pretty considerate for a stranger” is my favorite in this one.

I baby sat my cousin’s cats once, I opened the door and you could hear all 4 running down the hall. They skidded to a stop when they saw me, and then realized they knew me. I almost fell over with 4 kitties twining around my ankles. They get lonely when you’re gone.Mine mostly ignored the “sitter”. She told me a couple of times she never saw either cat.If mine got lonely it didn’t show! Mine would get into trouble and open cupboards and drag out food and dishes!

Cat sat for my friends once when their regular sitter was away too. I’ll never forget the look of shock on the one cat’s face as it realised it was me that came to see them – normally she hated everyone. Didn’t take long for her to decide I maybe wasn’t so bad after all :)

I see the boys are getting their favorite kibble in the blue bag ( the one good boys love).

We have agnomina for our two cats: Maria is “Mousebane” and Vesta is “Ankleshredder”. Guess which one Elvis made me think of?

Don’t we get news updates on Mondays? Am I confused? It happens.

Let me see if I add it up right. Over the past two days you had elaborate Halloween celebrations with two babies; you did the extra pictures as a fundraiser for your friend and you put a brand new strip on your website. Probably there’s much more.

…just mentioning that although it is now Tuesday (after 9:00am CST) there is still no new strip… :(

Oh Georgia, O, michty me, as the Scots say. We hope all is well. We miss you!!!!!

Any possibility that the strip that was to have run yesterday (November 2) will be seen this week, or at all?

Seems like it’s the Monday that keeps on giving for poor Georgia. It’s the strip from June 22, 2015. The only challenge is not bingeing then on all of them! grin.

Ah the days of Toddler and Teething Baby. I don’t miss them at all.

Georgia, you should make a “I’m so very sorry, may I please have your forgiveness and a barrel of coffee to go,” card featuring the boys being boys and the robber mice up to no good.
