I love how we’re in a futuristic society with flying cars, and yet CRT televisions with bunny ears are the go-to form of monitors.I mean, I do understand it, it’s a lot more… “TV” looking than a flatscreen or a tablet or smart phone in her bed.

Does no one ever just call ‘911’ in the case of an emergency? No, it’s better to call my pregnant wife to help me! That’ll fix EVERYTHING! facepalm

This is a far out there suggestion, but maybe Lyn turns out to be that mysterious transformation that showed up a long while back and which I don’t think has been resolved in awhile.

Panel 2 suggests that the awake air crew might have mutated in flight and become monsters. I’m guessing that the mutation might have happened when the plane was on autopilot and that the aircrew somehow avoided doing anything that might have damaged the plane’s ability to fly.

I’m guessing Lyn has been going through some… Changes. And he needs Holly to “Anne Frank” him.

I was watching a documentary about the Koran last night and it showed part of 9/11, had the same gut reaction to P1. If there are terrorists that would explain the overreaction of the Buddibombs , much like our real world speculations I wouldn’t put it past Apex to be behind the attack.

Actually, the newscaster does resemble Jake Jackrabbit the more I look at him.

Flight recorder probably has sounds of someone in cockpit becoming multitoothed horror and the resulting carnage.

That isn’t a Walking Dead ref…Or the Walking Dead were referencing something as well. You have to either be old, an AvGeek, or both. In 1996, Valujet Flight 592 was a DC-9 out of Miami which crashed into the Everglades a few minutes after takeoff with the loss of all on board. Several television news channels and papers reported it as 492, which caused some panic and confusion among relatives of passengers on board the (perfectly fine) Flight 492. If you google “Flight 492” and “everglades” you’ll see both numbers come up in articles for the same crash.

I recall owning a Dumont. It didn’t perch on the edge of my bed looking down on me, though.
