Well, seeing as she was about to get a cold shoulder anyway, not much of a loss.

Agree with paha_siga, she was going to get the cold shoulder afterwards no matter what she did.

She should have been sure first. To tease is so unfair. And like Mona cares so much about Jesus as an adult.

Wasn’t this how she was going to get back at him all along anyway?

Kids! You don’t have to jump into “it” right away! Work your way there! It’s fun! I promise!

And I don’t know why the cold shower was necessary. Just bringing up Jesus seems like it would have been enough.
