I agree with Dogsniff, the similarity of the word gave this comic a (presumably unintended) political slant, which undermined the humor.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is not what democracy is all about. It’s about picking the best person for the job. If you don’t like either then vote for someone else or abstain.

These are the candidates the people chose. It is an indication of the state of our philosophical/educational/fill-in-the-blank nation. Until we find someone who appeals to our better nature, instead of our baser instincts, this is what will continue to happen, until our country collapses on itself.

Some ruin the morn with blab about bigoted politicians. Which has nothing to do with gloom, an honest expression of feelings. Danae will get through it.

That does not necessarily disqualify her for the job. In fact, that might just be what we need right now…..Is this what we have come to?

That’s a poor reason. Try the Libertarian candidate instead.

May I just say that the way Kate is always drawn perched on the couch half-hidden behind a huge book is freakin’ adorable? Her being next to her dad only makes it more so.

constantnormalHe was wrong. A democracy is the rule of all the people, with the minority having some rights the majority cannot usurp. The majority (including those too apathetic to vote) may indeed get the government they deserve, but not all the people deserve it. They at least tried.

Danae’s just mad that Hillary is the presumptive nominee instead of her. Or that she’s was over looked for Elizabeth Warren. Who knows with Danae.
