Trudeau doesn’t have enough time in his Sunday-only strips to enumerate all of Herr Hairness’ most egregious lies. He may have to go back to doing a daily (or even twice daily) to get them all in by Election Day.

And I still want to see his taxes. The Russian connection is also frightening. The GOP is supporting this guy? How did we get here? When one of the major parties fails, we end up with chaos. It has happened before. Scapegoating of certain groups and nationalists take over. The alt right consists of a bunch of racist groups who are delighted that trump is the candidate chosen by the GOP. As a patriotic American I didn’t want to see the GOP put forth their crappiest. Give us your best.

Hillary has been known to dissemble and shade the truth like any normal, mortal, politician. OTOH, Con Man Don does a veritable Gish Gallop (look it up…) of every kind of wrong. It’s impossible for anyone, be they professional journalist or average citizen, to keep up with all of his wrong, let alone address it. Donald John Trump, aka “The John,” operates by the dictum that it’s much easier to make a mess than it is to clean it up, and while others are distracted with the clean-up, and by him all the time shouting “Hey! Look over there! Hillary!,” Mr. Despicable moves on to make even more messes. He’s the King of Slimeballs, from a city that knows how to slimeball. Now, in addition to being King, he wants to be President?

Why do you try to convince us she only told one lie, when she has told so many thousands, starting way before Willie screwed his way into the governorship of Arkansas?

I have been reading Doonesbury since it first appeared nationally, and yes, I am that old, but I’ve never had any doubt as to Trudeau’s political leanings. I am amazed that readers would complain about bias when they know going in how he feels. It would be like complaining that Faux News? doesn’t present the progressive viewpoint. It didn’t take long for me to see how Mallard Filmore viewed the world and ,as a result I haven’t read it since the first few weeks.

They are both worthless. Two sorry examples of human excrement. Three hundred and something million people in this country and this is the best we can come up with to run for President? Incredible! We are a nation of sheep being led to slaughter by a couple of Judas goats.

Newsweek did a good article on “businessman” Donald Trump. If he hadn’t had a rich daddy to keep bailing him out, he would have ended up flipping burgers by the time he was 30.

Politicians lie. Good politicians lie for the good of the people they represent. Bad politicians lie to for their own personnel gain. Great politicians don’t get caught either way.

It’s important to remember that Trump is (quite literally) delusional, so Little Donnie actually BELIEVES at least some of his own lies. He is also massively ignorant (of pretty much everything but let’s start with history and current events), so when he spouts nonsense we could be charitable and not call them “lies”, merely nonsense. Then again, he is also a COMPULSIVE liar and has been for decades. Add it all up, and it just doesn’t add up, does it?

John McCain also if I was an Obama supporter : they were two honest and fairy candidates : poltics became horrible in the last years as in US as here in Europe

Tim Kaine said something worth thought this morning, pointing out that Trump constantly attacks opponents with “disrespectful” comments. They are NOT merely disrespectful, they’’re constantly dispicable, disgusting, and blatant lies, not forms of address.

Do we really think a man with such contempt for EVERYONE on the planet, other than himself, would make a leader for peace and prosperity for the masses,or preservation of peace, the environment, and the planet? He who literally lives in a gold tower with his name emblazoned on every egocentric portal, should not be in charge of a business, let alone a city, county, state, or nation.

Riveting tale, chap! All anyone has to do is simply quote Trump to see the lies (his speeches average a lie every 5 minutes). Even the worst of Hillary’s statements aren’t near the frequency or total delusion of Trump’s obvious mythomania. He is so out of touch with reality that he doesn’t even seem to know whether his statements are true or false.

How did we end up with these 2? It’s like the least likely to do a good job of presenting. They are so unlikeable too. What they both say and how they both say or not say. What (The Wolf in your midst) is so right about, “What Trump says he Will do is what bothers” me also. They need to scrap this election and start from scratch next year. I would rather have status quo than put either bozo in charge.Thing is, we can’t know what is truth anymore because of all the lies.

This one of the best political toon strips. I’m glad you have such low life presidential candidates that so easily come to light. I feel such sympathy for all who must choose between them.. Take heart knowing they went to the Brian Mulroney School of Sniveling Embellishment for Aspiring Politicians, founded by the most hated Prime Minister in Canada. They had to learn weasel talk 101 somewhere.

In terms of trump and national security, his coziness with Putin is very troubling. In terms of Clinton having health issues, many of us have suffered pneumonia and concussions and lived to tell the tale. It is 2016, after all. Trump is very overweight, eats a lot of fast food, brags about getting little sleep, takes a statin to lower cholesterol. He doesn’t seem like a picture of health.

Douglas Adams says that the kind of violent imagery Trump uses is just how New Yorkers talk, and he may well be right – but it’s dangerous to do I in front of people who might take him literally. Pretending to be his own publicity officer in order to praise himself deserves some kind of a prize but the BBC revealed yesterday that he’s been using fake Twitter accounts to pretend that Mexican Americans support him.

The thing is, that Trump supporters, i.e. the base of the Republican party, especially Fox “news” viewers and white supremacists,DO NOT CARE how many lies Trump espouses.

They also DO NOT CARE about his character issues.

    What DO they care about?

Hatred Of ObamaHatred Of HillaryHatred of Mexicans, Muslims, and minorities.

Whatever lies Trump tells or character issues he displays, they chant to themselves that Hillary does it too/more/worse.

They cannot defend Trump’s character or any of his lies without making Hillary the subject.

He is NOT telling people to kill her. He is saying that if she thinks guns are too dangerous for the public, she should put her money where her mouth is. If the public cannot have guns for protection, then she shouldn’t, either. So, guns are only for the people the government wants to protect, or those who can afford 24 hour bodyguards?

Pooh poohing muslim attacks in the US as very rare should also say that gun violence is very rare.

In fact, Trudeau is wrong on the emails. In his testimony before the house, Comey clarified that a classified email is supposed to have a specific header which was not found on any of the emails. Three of them did have a “©”, which I have been told marks a classified reference. The other emails, claimed to be classified after the fact (with the FBI looking over their shoulder), were not marked classified by the responsible agency – so Clinton can be excused for not having remembered that 100 out of 30,000 government business emails maybe should have been marked classified but weren’t. That sounds more like 1 Pinocchio, 2 at best. But 26 years of the vast right wing conspiracy propaganda campaign have done their damage, and we believe the worst of Clinton on weak evidence.

Around age 5, I learned from a Tarzan comic that a monkey can be trapped by putting some nuts in a coconut shell with a hole just big enough for the monkey’s empty hand to go in. The monkey just won’t let go of the nuts, and they come and take it away.A lot of Republican voters have gotten the short end of the stick, year after year, by a party establishment that promised to hate the things they hate and push their social goals, but they really care more about keeping their income up. Their frustration is so strong, they now will vote for Trump, just because he sounds like one of them. They’re turning their back on what the GOP establishment wants, but they can only turn but so far—to Trump, who won’t help them, either. The sad part is that they just can’t let go of those nuts: that wonderful hatred of liberals, and especially of any liberal who has been in the White House. So they are trapped, and will keep harming themselves with their own votes.I probably have to say this outright, or face angry recriminations: I do understand that Republicans are not monkeys. They do not live in trees. They even use metaphors sometimes, but have a way of pretending not to see metaphors when they can turn it into something that allows them to feel insulted. They are not monkeys. They are people.
