Thank you for the nudge. I just removed this strip from my favorites and will discontinue reading it. It was getting boring and I guess I just needed a little nudge. Thanks for providing that.
I notice that the strip doesnât actually mention the election result. Knowing the usual long deadlines for Sunday strips, I wonder if it was drawn while Trudeau was still thinking/hoping that Trump would lose.
the gropenfuhrer and the donald were fondling each other. the donald asked, âthis doesnât make us gay, does it?" the gropenfuhrer replied, âof course not, just sexual predatorsâŚâ
Seems to me âPresidentâ Trump will be the first President actually visually portrayed in the strip! I remember a waffle iron and a feather, and voices from an armed or old fenced in White House.
My Thanksgiving Prayer: Dear Lord, please grant Gerry the ability to ruthlessly rip to shreds this maniac/moron/monster and his minions for the next 4 years or hopefully less time. Amen.
The strip may say, âPost-Election,â but it was clearly written before the election, with an unspoken assumption that Hillary won. The satirical point of the strip is Donald trying to figure out why he wasnât able to be elected.
That mis-fit between reality and satire is a big part of why this strip isnât very funny.
Sigh. Once again certain people cannot seem to understand that a whole bunch of CONSERVATIVES publicly stated that they would never vote for Trump. (Which is not the same thing as voting for Clinton, of course.) The standard-bearer periodical for conservatism, The National Review, was only one example. (True, its famous issue against Little Donnie was back during the primary season, but even soâŚ..) Of course, The National Review does frequently use two or even THREE syllable words, so Iâm not sure that many Trump voters could understand it. Let me just toss out two conservative comments of more recent vintage: Conservative pundit Michael Gerson publicly wrote that Trump, in publicly praising the evil dictator and avowed enemy of the United States, Saddam Hussein, had âlost his moral compass.â (This praise was after Saddam was dead, of course, but even soâŚâŚ.) Conservative pundit David Brooks, the Friday before the election, stated âOne of the two candidates isnât fit to be the president, but I wonât mention his name.â There are literally hundreds of examples easy enough to find.
Whine all you want, what I worry about is the high possibility of assassination. If you look at history when we have a highly polarizing President we have the nuts come out of the woodwork.
Trump is carefully settings us up for doom. Just like the crap that rolls out of his mouth, he is poisonous, bigoted, dishonest, lying, cheating, scum loving garbage. Nothing could be worse for this country, which now will continue to rot, roads going to hell, rails ditto, infrastructure in the toilet.
Not only does he only have a limited vocabulary, heâs dumb as a stump.
And of course, donât forget, Hillary won the election by over 2 million votes. But TT (trump turd) will be appointed president, for the 2nd time this century.
Get ready for it folks, the big R, just what republicans love, recession, layoffs, rich get richer, poor get poorer, middle class disappears, and the crap rolls on. Sad to see this once great country join the 3rd world, great no more, sad.
If you havenât noticed Hillary is out of it. Canât you concentrate on your own man for once? He is in she is out all democrats are out but just a few in the House and Senate. Concentrate on that for awhile and tell us the glories of your leader you elected.
News flash! Hillary Clinton paid $25 Million dollars to settle an impending lawsuit! Iâll bet you Republicans are ready to charge the barricades over that! How suspicious can you get? Only someone whoâs guilty wouldâŚ
.
Oh, wait. It was actually Trump. Well, thatâs just fine, then. Hey, how about that Broadway show, then?

Are there Secret Service agents big enough to handle Arnold?
Night-Gaunt49[Bozo is Boffo] over 8 years ago
Arnold was closer to Conan at least in the sexual realm. He used his male member instead of a sword and the conquests were all female.

Republican philosophy; When it comes to criticizing presidents, the First Amendment gets canceled when a Republican is in the White House.

More Republican philosophy; Keep the Second and Tenth Amendments. You can get rid of all of the other silliness in the Constitution.

Trump will also be guilty of ethics violations the day he takes office, worthy of impeachment due to conflicts of interest.
