A nice touch, seeing Tracy willing to share his burdens with Mole, as a friend.

    @ Boroborygmy (yesterday)-

When I say: ā€œundeniably,ā€ I mean that I canā€™t deny it. I had hoped that would have been understood. There is plenty of denial to go around for those who havenā€™t been party to an experience.

    .

This is also not to say that everyone who gets prayed for gets healed. I donā€™t know the answer to that, but those who honestly seek an answer may find it in Luke 4: 24-27.

    .

Iā€™m going to go out on a limb here and mention something that came to me recently when a prayer was answered- maybe itā€™s not the power of prayer that is active in the healingā€¦itā€™s the power of Love.

I would also like to share some other options that seem to have worked for others in defeating cancer- and please donā€™t start a firestorm over ā€œalternativeā€ medicine. If you sincerely want to check out some success stories, search out some of these:

    .

Rene Cassie and the story of Essiac and the many hopeless cases she cured.

The book: ā€œWorld Without Cancerā€ by G. Edward Griffin, the story of vitamin B17.

Watch the movie: ā€œCancer Is Serious Businessā€:

    .

ā€¦and then draw your own conclusions.

Always glad to see Mole make an appearance.

The supporting cast is one of this stripā€™s greatest strengths.

btw, did anyone ELSE realize that the whole bellowthon story was given yet another ā€œSweatbox Endingā€ as well?

If you donā€™t have the time to let a story run itā€™s full course, just donā€™t run it at all

Always a pleasure to see Mole. Tracy had a hand in his reformation. Here is where I would post a panel of Tracy bringing Mole Christmas presents in jail (1941). Alasā€¦

The close of Selfyā€™s story was fast but effective. He was so busy getting a snap of himself with an unconscious Tracy that he failed to see the Cape Buffaloā€™s charge. Death by narcissism. Selfy left the stage in a body bag. He was nothing to look at after all: so ugly. We learned Saturday that House Bill 6947 was dropped. Bellowthon was the force behind the attempt to make intolerance law. Her murder killed the chance to codify xenophobiaā€¦for now. Finally, Tracy was informed that Posie is out on parole and harassing Mysta. Nice wrap up.

Guys, a thought occurred to meā€¦

    .

Throughout his time in the strip, Sam has been depicted as a smoker. When Joe Staton became artist, he often showed Sam smoking, but hasnā€™t for the past several months.

    .

What if Marge got cancer from all the secondhand smoke she received from being married to Sam?

    .

That would explain why Sam has quit smoking.

    .

As I understand it, smoking causes cancer in 1 out of 3 people. What if Sam is one of the 2 out of 3 people who donā€™t get cancer from smoking, while his wife is one of the 1 out of 3 people who do. Sam wouldnā€™t just feel grief and anxiety, but guilt as well.

Are his people adept at matters medical ?

Itā€™s always good to check everything. When it comes to cancer, you never have enough info, or friends.

Good thing Iā€™m not hung up on sports or I would hemorrhage when a Denver team takes a bath.

Thatā€™s about the only thing us Kentuckians will agree on ā€” at least us eastern folks. :) Every winter, when itā€™s cold outside, we put on a fire, pop corn, and watch UK basketball :)

@Night-Gaunt49 GoComics PRO Member said, about 16 hours agoDid Kantucky cross the Maisie-Dixie line ?.I am curious as to that sentence. ā€œKantuckyā€ and "Maisie-Dixie line

Well, Night; one early name for Kentucky was ā€œKantuckā€ but the exact etymology isnā€™t fully known. How I got it was known. My spiritual grandmother; a tradition full blooded Cherokee gave me the name early on. She wasnā€™t really my /blood/ grandmother, just a very old family friend, a close friend to my uncle a full blooded Brule Lakota Sioux.

(giggle) Gweedo wrote it best :) Thank you, honey.

Good to see Mole again! Reformed, family man Mole is a favorite character. But I think his ā€œlookā€ has changed slightly in the direction of more nearly-believable realism. No big deal.

    Ā

The urgent matter is what lies behind Tracyā€™s ā€œIā€™m afraid so, Moleā€ in panel 3. He didnā€™t come just to buy a Christmas tree from Mole or to exchange seasonal pleasantries. Itā€™s time for friends and family to mobilize on behalf of Margie and Sam and against cancer! This yearā€™s coincidence of Christmas Eve and Hanukkah gives Hope for a good outcome!
