Calvin is on his best behavior in this strip. Polite in the first panel and displaying genuine shame in the last.

Hobbes would have liked it better if it had been a tuna fish cake with chocolate icing.

It couldn’t have been Hobbes. No self-respecting tiger would eat a cake like that.

First, they stalk the cake, circle it slowly, slowly … and then … then thy pounce on it.

Hobbes ate the cake (yeah, right!), but Susie will probably accuse Calvin.

Has anyone seen the poster whose screenname I can’t remember for sure, LX 13 something, the Austrian lady? I don’t recall seeing her at least since the gocomics format changed. I hope she is all right, and if she’s stopped coming here because she has problems with the format (like I do), I don’t blame her. But if you’re there, LX, I miss you!
