Like when windows decides to “Update” when you just needed a quick reboot to fix a sound issue or some other simple thing.

And if you allow updates on iPhones, you will run out of storage at or before the time your contract runs out so they’re all too happy to sell you a new phone.

Nothing beats my GPS. It always does a complete backup before updating anything. The backup takes about 90 minutes. “Tiny map update”, 90 min. backup followed by a 2 minute update. “Small code change for Fast lock”, 90 minute backup followed by a 90 minute download. On the plus side, it can’t do a backup unless I connect it to a computer.

My printer is currently screwed up because an update I didn’t want was automatically downloaded and I can’t figure out how to delete it. #ThanksApple!

I lost over 100 saved podcasts recently when I tried to add new ones to my ipod touch, Curse you, Steve Jobs!
