And if you allow updates on iPhones, you will run out of storage at or before the time your contract runs out so they’re all too happy to sell you a new phone.
Nothing beats my GPS. It always does a complete backup before updating anything. The backup takes about 90 minutes. “Tiny map update”, 90 min. backup followed by a 2 minute update. “Small code change for Fast lock”, 90 minute backup followed by a 90 minute download. On the plus side, it can’t do a backup unless I connect it to a computer.

Like when windows decides to “Update” when you just needed a quick reboot to fix a sound issue or some other simple thing.

My printer is currently screwed up because an update I didn’t want was automatically downloaded and I can’t figure out how to delete it. #ThanksApple!
