Aah, these two wonderful girls under Nancy’s roof!

Here we have Pru. When it comes to all the house upkeep stuff, Pru is no slouch!

And, too, There’s Lu! When it comes to this kind of stuff, Luann is…..er….well, actually a slouch…uh….

Anyway, still two wonderful, delightful girls!

Well, Nancy knows how to find more ways to “skin a potato”, with Luann… as Neil Peart would say: “Signal transmitted, message received” (♪)!

Is she still running the Fuse for free? It’s pretty messed up to have someone work for you for no compensation and then charge them rent on top of that.

I’m sure that Pru is being paid and that the rent is not a burden.

Good job on the drawing. You see very little of Luann’s face – but the expression is all there.

At least Nancy isn’t being too subtle.

If Pru did much more work around the house, she’d be getting paid for it.

Pru is a young adult – a few years Luann’s senior – so yes, she shows more maturity. From what we’ve seen of her, she’s pretty together and responsible.

From another angle, they do say that opposites attract. Blonde vs. brunette? More mature vs. less mature? Prudent vs. not so prudent?

(Notwithstanding those who think that any attraction there would be imprudent.)

It could be that Luann had to move to the living room because her room is a total disaster and is no longer habitable.

Time for mom to start charging a clean up tax on Luann.

I have a child that was like that growing up. Luckily she grew up and moved out, at least I don’t have to look at the mess anymore.

(Psst! Hey Pru. DON’T let what Nancy here, says go to Your Head. She and Hubby Frank once let Old Smilely stay there “Rent Free” for Months! And That, is after He Darn Neared Burned Their Other House Down!)

With that nice list of accomplishments and compliments Prudence is getting from Nancy, hope Pru is getting some sort of discount on the rent.

Puddles is keeping Luann’s tootsies warm.

Maybe if Luann paid a bit of rent, then it would motivate her to keep her room clean.

This is an ‘Odd Couple’ moment – with the addition of Nancy as a landlord…

How old is Luann now? 19? 20? Isn’t she a bit old to be still acting like a fifteen year old slouch?

Yikes!… I erased my long message and its reply by mistake. I was doing a reply to the reply; I put it in the garbage after editing a new version and the whole message sequence got erased……….bummer!

It’s time for Luann to start paying her way or to get out. The mooching has to stop. Besides, renting out Luann’s former room will mean extra income for Nancy, that budget-conscious mom! Doesn’t Frank earn enough at his CIA (or whatever) job?

Luann is a do-nothing lump on the couch and is a messy slob, episode # 2483.
