Iâm liking Jock more and more!! He knocked the teacher right down! Reminds me of a video I dsaw where an animal smeared paint on a canvas. They took it to art critics who oohed and aahed over. Until they were told who/what the âartistâ was!!
MIght it actually be a piece of gum carelessly stuck on the wall; Nil with his little smirk? Also the smile of Luannâs at the humor in Jackâs observation. If it is a piece of gum, how is Professor Pretentious (although I donât really think he is that bad) going to react? Questions, questions. Funny, and a lot more in Luannverse. Those who wondered where Luann went, well here she is.
Class? Any other thoughts? Certainly. Here are few:
1.Why do you wear a bowtie and have a handkerchief in your pocket and they donât match in colour?
2.How do you get your moustache to move around on your face like that? One moment, itâs under your nose and the other itâs crawling towards the right side of your face.
3.Did anyone ever tell you that you donât wear your belt on the outside of your suit coat? It goes around your pants.
4.Why do you always have one hand behind your back? Are you scratching something back there?
I sure am glad to see that today, people are having some light-hearted fun by âjudgingâ some of these cartoon characters as they see fit. Zebo seems to be the latest target.
Yesterday, it seems that a plethora of liberal social engineers were bent on telling us how wrong it is to judge anyone for any reason â even a cartoon character.
Personally, I think itâs always OK to judge a cartoon character, because no harm is done. And if more info comes out on them, one might just change oneâs judgment. Thatâs part of the entertainment.
And as for real life: If six decades of ânon-judgmentalismâ were serving our culture well, we would not be seeing the massive social changes currently underway, both in the US and in Europe. Of course, anyone is free to disagree with these movements. But if they do, they are judging the movements, as well as the people who spearhead them. Itâs always been this way. True non-judgmentalism is a mirage.
Now Iâll get out of the way and let the judgments fly. Gee, this is lots of fun!
ââŠ.And could be, like⊠anyone? ⊠Like, maybe, possibly, someone just like us?⊠Even, for example, letâs say, and sorta âthrowin dartsâ here, butâŠâŠsomeone potentially, possibly who was just like us? Even, if it were someone maybeâŠsimilar to someone rightâŠbehind⊠me? "
you troglodytes know nothing about art. That âpiece of gum stuck on the wallâ is PERFORMANCE ART peopleâŠoh when will they ever learn? Iâm with the Professor on this one.
@SukieCrandall,and @ JAYBLUE Guy Lombardo, eh? Interesting. My late friend Carmine C DâAmico was a guitarist who worked with s lot of people as a session player, also was the featured classical guitarist on Bernsteinâs MASS, he was in the ROYAL TEENS co wrote, as he put it that crappy tune that let him pay for college, SHORT SHORTS. He was featured in THE GODFATHER as the wedding band leader and guitarist, was on the theme song to CHEERS, played with Mel Torme, Liza Minelli, Ed Ames, played guitar on âA Fifth of Beethovenâ was the guitarist on the original âLaw And Order" theme( not the spinnoffs) George Benson, but the biggest thing was playing lead guitar on the BEE GEES songs from Saturday Night Fever. He died in 2009 after relocating to LAs Vegas, working the shows and writing jazz.
I love Nilâs sense of humor! He does dance right on the edge, but when that character gets it right, he gets it so very, very right. He must be a very challenging but fun character to write. Certainly, he is great fun to read and try to anticipate. So often his wheels are quietly turning.
I have heard similar stuff. You should have heard how Robert Mapplethorpeâs photo work was described. The fellow with his had up the other fellowâs rectum was most strangely described in that same toneâŠ
At least weâre back to centering on Luann again. As for Jack, so he plays the field? Heâs what, 20 years old at most? People get married later today, thank goodness. Itâs time Luann stopped looking for the great love of her life, and just relax and have some fun.
After weeks of the heavy duty Piro-Bernice saga, I think the Evansâ wanted to do something light hearted⊠Jackâs testosterone laden jockish interpretation (of the painting) which Luann deliberately countered with the feminine analysis⊠playful mocking⊠the hand holding was nothing (the way I see it) just Jackâs attempt to get Luann away from the painting and the interpretation that he couldnât bear to think about⊠and more playful mocking (on Luannâs part) today.
Unfortunately, all this high-falutinâ artsy-fartsy talk isnât going to do Luann much good when she finally gets her job teaching art to pre-schoolers.
