She may not be, but damaging other peopleâs property is a crime and those tombstones arenât cheap. Now if she did it because the dead are Jews then it ups it to a hate crime.
What does this desecrating of a Jewish cemetery have to do with the robbery at the cosplay convention? Is Big Margie stupid enough to bury the dough in graves and digging cash up as needed?
Well theres no chance of the Margieâs NOT going to jail, because once Sam is on the case he does what he does best⌠CATCHEM!! (yup, I went there lol)
Oh and for the recordâŚ. I cant tell the difference in todays strip between Joeâs work and Shelleyâs⌠thatâs some SERIOUS SKILL right there! Great job Shelley!
Okay, so I totally misread yesterdayâs strip. I simply thought that perhaps we were going on a Sweatbox type of arc! That whatever Big Margie was up to perhaps also had to do with grave robbing or something. But, apparently, no, BM is far more despicable than we were originally led to believe.
What we know so far: Big Margie is the âbrainsâ of this outfit, but her actions (big spending and now, grave desecration) suggest that she isnât all that bright. (Speculated by someone else, BM may be doing this to draw the police away from the robbery. But this may draw the police away from the robbery but to their doorstep, anyway!) Middle Margie does the dirty work â she pulled off the heist. So far, there is little to exonerate these two.
Little Margie: Now, this is the difficult one. She seems to know what Big and Middle are doing is wrong â but â for whatever reason, doesnât seem able to say ânoâ to them. She may be mentally challenged â a possible defense for her once they are finally caught. But knowing that what they are doing is wrong probably weighs against her: If you know youâre doing wrong, why didnât you say no?
Last, and certainly least: Congratulations to Team Tracy for this sudden, unexpected, but much needed turnaround in this story! While I certainly could use some more Svengoolie (and the attendant rubber chickens), I, for one, am glad that the circus has left town â and we are now digging into a nitty gritty crime!
Apparently, the âFeatured Commentâ addition was retroactive: Paging back a few days, many of the regulars have held that position, including Morrow âŚ
http://www.gocomics.com/dicktracy/2017/04/27
The algorithm seems to select those comments with the most replies, and â I suspect â in the event of a tie either the comment with the most individual typewritten characters, or whichever came first.

So, itâs the second vandalism incident this month. What are the chances that Big Margie is behind both of those incidents?

Traditional âChester Gouldâ stories occasionally took wild swings, and involved an escalation of events.

Big Margie may have gone over-board if sheâs trying to distract Tracy from the theft.

Slow News day in Tracyville if this is front page news. Sadly this happens all the time in the big apple.
Samâs got some funky thumbs! LOL!
Tracy looks like heâs rolling his eyes and thinking;Â âOY VEY, Catchemâs going on another rant!â
Congratulations to NG49 for being COMMENT OF THE DAY!

We might not make our quota tonight, if the site is going dark for an extended period. :(

Out of curiosity, how many Jewish cemeteries would there normally be in a Chicago-size city like Tracyville?

Go get them, Sam! And Tracy had better help, too!
Big Margie is a bigot as well as a robber. What a vile, repulsive character she turns out to be. Never again!
She must be busted and must be made to pay restitution for the vandalized grave stones.Don Bagert Premium Member almost 8 years ago
Another less-than-100 comments day :(

HmmâŚ12:11 am Central Time and no new strip. Maybe theyâre waiting until 100 comments LOL j/k

I think possibly linking Jerry Siegel and Sam Catchem as relatives would be interesting.

By the way, is anyone else having problems with the Comment and Reply buttons? I frequently have to press a button twice to get it to post.

Well, we got to 100, although it took overtime to do it!
