OMC!!! love, love, love, love, love, love it!!! Poor Elvis, trying to put a positive spin on that awful muzzle, the boys getting dressed, and Pucky with his treat. Georgia, you get better every day! Thank you!!
Omigosh, Elvis looks like Hannibal Lechter. I could use one of those muzzles for Spencer, but he doesn’t bite at the vet – just at home. The boys look so adorable getting dressed again. I thought Puck was brushing his teeth but I guess he’s having salmon on a stick! Georgie, you are sooooo inventive!
How many fishy-pops did Pucky get? He seems to have an empty stick in several panels. Lupin is adorable getting dressed. And Elivs – I love his thinking – that the muzzle is for HIS protection. I bet that once the vet pets him and calls him a good boy, he’ll purr like there’s no tomorrow.
Did Lupin get a treat? Surely that good little boy deserves one as well! And Elvis! Just ‘cause he’s the nervous type. Fair’s fair! At least the vet is a nice guy! Love to everyone!
Muzzling a cat? That is impossible. How could the vet do that without major claw damage to himself. Any vet worth his/her diploma knows how to handle a ‘vicious’ cat and that is not it. Five boo’s and hisses.
“Oh, you merely adopted the vet visit. I was born in the vet’s office. Molded by it. I did not see the house until I was already a cat, and by that time it was merely ANNOYING!”
Miss Furbie (see left) just had her annual physical, which this year included two shots in her bum. She was very good, although when I tried to take her to the groomers the next day she wasn’t having it at ALL and hid under the bed until I gave up and rescheduled! Anyway the vet didn’t know about BCN, so I told him lots of stories to which he laughed out loud; hopefully he’ll get the whole clinic watching this series!
Only 14 more subscribes until 7,000! While I am not sure if GoComics metrics mean anything, I assume that having BCN on the front page every day (Most Liked) makes it more attractive to newspapers.
This is the only comic that I read the comments on…and then I have to go back up to the comic to see the little details that everyone was chatting about. I have 5 kitty housemates (and a huge dog), so I get a kick out of this comic. My husband, kids, and I all “talk” for our animals on what they look like would say if they could about situations. They have such distinct personalities just like Pucky, Lupin, and Elvis!
I agree, AIMERS1212! Tried to read comments on other comics, but I think Georgia’s followers are wonderful animal lovers! They really care! Purrs to all your “pride”!

Not sure why, but that muzzle doesn´t look all that secure. Also impressed he can still talk clearly with it on.

Muzzling our ace reporter! No wonder he bit everyone when they tried to stop him from revealing the truth about whether cotton balls are edible.

Eating cotton balls? I guess it would have to be Elvis who pulled this. Elvis who, after all, was the one who once “hopped the train into Buttertown”.

Would Elvis like some fava beans and a nice Chianti?

Absolutely priceless! BCN is my favorite comic and is the first one that I read. Thank you Georgia.
I had no idea they make cat muzzles. So cute yet undignified.

Elvis’ eating cotton balls “like a maniac” reminds me of the scene from Elf, where Buddy is in the doctor’s office, eating cotton balls… [snicker]

Georgia, this is priceless. Each day is priceless! Love what you do!

I think there’s a typo – isn’t he Elvis and not Elvish?
Xalder about 7 years ago
Naturally had to assume Elvis’ voice transformed into that of Bane from that batman movie.

Elvish! That’s cute! Poor Elvis. A muzzle will never stifle this courageous reporter! Robot pig? For shame!

Puck trying to talk with his mouth full… LOL! Elvis DOES look like a serial killer… that will come back to haunt him, I’m sure! Hope they take pics!

The muzzle looks like a CPAP face-gear. Think about it—a cat with a sleep disorder. Scary.

If Elvis got a treat it would taste like fava beans!
