This story is becoming the (Mr. Case) of the missing plot. While R&W are dragging this out until two-a-days start, we’re missing valuable time at Milford CC, the lake and our semi-yearly glimpse of Mimi, poolside in a bikini. Bring back the one armed golfer and let’s move this thing along.

P-3: Now that I’m 30 is a reference to a menu selection (29 is Chop Suey, 30 is General Tsao

My guess of the meaning of “30” here is that he thought it was stupid for adults to ask for his autograph when he was 18. And because we haven’t seen him since he was 18, it’s like those years didn’t exist, so suddenly he remarks that it’s ok to ask for his autograph now. Or something like that.

Did he not get asked for an autograph when he was 25? The guy isn’t from Milford so it’s not like he’s having flashbacks to his childhood.

Ruben always seems to have these ideas of witty repartee but doesn’t know how to condense it into a 3 panel strip so they make any sense to the reader.

Hate this format wherein one seeks to break someones balls and it it is buried in “3 replies”
