Ooh, I see Ceiling Cat Conveyances being conveyed into the home by their Woman! If the window was open we’d probably hear her getting whatfor from a cat or two.
The soon-to-be ceiling woman (who, for some reason, is downstairs right now) appears to be carrying cage-boxes. Reporters should be better observers. Granted, no smells can reach that far, especially with the window closed, but still! Hmm, perhaps the cage-boxes were only visible while Elvis was looking back into the room (or Camera 1, I suppose). The other reporters do not appear to be at the window yet. I suppose that it’s possible that no one other than the Woman (and the Baby) was looking out the window at the appropriate time to see them. And as nice and as warm and even as useful she is, she . . . Well, let’s just say she doesn’t always place the correct importance on news items. She, like most people, is often . . . ah, clueless. Yes, “clueless,” is a fairly polite term. (It never pays to insult the one with the opposable thumbs who can open tuna cans and the all important kibble container).
In other news, the ceiling cats are about to be introduced! Yay! I’ve missed them!
At last, the emergence of the Ceiling Cats! I just love Lupin’s adventurous grin in the last panel whilst Puck and Elvis have concerned and curious expressions.
Every fan of Georgia’s is special, animal-loving, and has an amazing history of pet stories. I so much love reading them. May all of you, and of course, Georgia & her extended family, have a lovely autumn weekend! For those of you on Earth’s flipside, a joyous spring!
Hey, cat-people. Out of deference to those who may be reading BCN for the first time (not me), please don’t ruin the future fun for them by posting spoilers…
I have a suggestion. I understand how difficult it can be for us long time readers to remember that not everybody has read all the original strips. If you want to discuss what each new strip means to the storyline try this. Make a comment that simply says “Spoiler Alert.” Then reply to your own comment with the spoiler you just couldn’t resist posting. That way, folks who don’t like spoilers will be forewarned and those who are overjoyed to recognize that a favorite storyline is making its reappearance will know to read the replies an feel free to discuss future possible developments without without fear of spoiling somebody’s first experience.

When I get to see a new strip, I hate to leave that page. Keep reminding myself that there will be another tomorrow. Oh, how I love the daily strips.

OT but I’m curious, how many of you are reading these strips for the first time?

I’m simply in awe of Georgia’s ability—the expression on Puck’s face in the last panel is so simple, yet conveys so much.
And I can hardly wait for what (who) is coming! Some of my favorite characters. You “new folks” are in for a treat.

Elvis loves the idea of flying boxes, doesn’t he? Hates change, but loves boxes. Oh, the internal conflict! Oh, the feline angst !

Just moved. As soon as got the girls things set up and opened the carriers, they flew out so fast their “boxes” literally flew across the room.
