Dave Barry’s pick for worst song lyrics ever. Hard to disagree.

Just one problem: The icing isn’t green.

That song was ridiculous.

What tripped me out was discovering Sir Richard Harris was the singer! It came on Sirius a few months back & even though I knew the song, I had never known who sang it. When I got home I looked to see if it was indeed the same Richard Harris from the movies. The vision of Albus Dumbledore singing “it took so long to bake it…” was bizarre.

Error by the person doing the coloring. That icing really should be green, not purple.

I love the Hello Kitty umbrella.

The rest of that album is really good, though.

This is definitely the appropriate comic to parody MacArthur Park. They are both pleasantly weird.

I’ve heard wonderful versions of this song Richard Harris’ was not one of them.

One of the absolute worst songs ever. But if the boys get a wet cake snack out of it then it will have, after some 45 years, redeemed itself an itsy-bitsy bit.
