If Adam Austin invites Sprocket to be his date at the opening, will she wear shoes? Will she wear a formal gown? Her hippy appearance and her idiosyncratic barefoot neurosis might just turn out to be her undoing.

Bill doesn’t know it but Comet has a little something on the side. Life should be more than just burning oats and hauling some aging cowboy hero around.

And the profound spew-take from Silver encapsulates his reaction clearly enough. The bond between the two Nitrates, not ever broken even by abuse and threats, may be sacrificed on Aphrodite’s altar!
