One more reason why I do not want one of those things. It’s bad enough that there are places where I have to ‘sign’ for things by scribbling with a finger across someone’s screen. Between my aversion to touching the thing and lack of skill writing with my finger, the result looks nothing like my signature. Eww!
To me, “iris” scanners always conjure up that movie scene where the bad guy is scanning an eyeball stuck on the end of a knife while the original ‘owner’ of the eye lies in a bloody heap at his feet! ugh!

Not likely many people will want to borrow her phone after watching her take her shoes off to unlock it. Ewww.

I heard about one guy who used his dog’s nose print to unlock his phone. That is pretty secure.

I think Opal would be better off with an Iris Scanner to unlock her phone….then she can use the line " Here’s looking at you, kid. "

So, if she needs to unlock the phone while in a checkout line … Or unlock her phone when she is in a nice restaurant …

And if she ever has to have her toe replace her accidentally amputated thumb, she’s ready.
