Confused by the emphasis on “he’s” in the P3 dialogue. So rumor had it that Rick had an extra-smart lawyer uncle who made it big in LA and Gil just found out exactly who he is?
Now that our favorite coach is aware of the happenings in his young player’s life, someone is going to pay. P2- Shameless promotion of the GIL mug with Christmas approaching.
Let’s see if I got this right. Gil tells Kaz that the Uncle is the one who is pushing Rick to be a singing star. Then they walk outside, get in the car, drive to a fast food restaurant, and place their order. At that point, Kaz makes his comment about Rick’s uncle. That scenario makes no sense.
The only logical way to interpret this chain of events is that the person in the car is talking to Gil and Kaz on a speaker phone. The mystery person is probably Milford’s version of Mr. Wolf. Gil’s about to have a mess cleaned up.
Alternate dialog for P2 – “No, quit worrying. Your butt does not look big in those jeans.” And speaking of inappropriate dialog, there is plenty of it in the last couple of installments of Mopped Up Thorp.

Poor Kaz, must have an awful crick in his neck. I think he’s stuck in that position. Maybe it has something to do with his short right arm

Is that a drive thru Pizza Hut? They must have some pretty fast ovens in Milford these days.

If he made it big in LA why is he running a small-time hustle with his nephew?

Come to think of it, what does “Maybe he’s right” mean? Right about what?
