Phishface gets all the good lines today! “The jury is about to make its decision…I’m hanging on a hook already!” – and, my favorite, “And I thought I had problems!”
“I just had a checkup and ended up in line for a 4x bypass. Bummer. Tell the guys for me. It will happen Monday am because they have to wait to get the Eliquis out of my system. More later. Say a good prayer to the Big Man who saved Ghost. I follow on my iPhone via app, but can’t post.”
My prediction : Phishface will hide Ghost, but then make a secret call to the MCU in order to turn him in. Then, he’ll ask Tracy to talk with the D.A. and get his criminal charges reduced, or at least get some time knocked off of his sentence. That’s how he’ll get off the hook.
I was thinking about Abner Kadaver last night, while watching Darby O’Gill and the Little People. Since the Coiste Bodhar features in the climax. If we’ve finally seen the last of him, then I at least hope Rikki makes a return appearance, either escaping from jail, or being brought in to consult on a case.
I never realized that guys on trial and awaiting a verdict for murder can live freely at home and openly receive guests who are suffering from gunshot wounds. Ya’ learn something new every day here!
Looking at the ballistics here. Tracy fired from a prone position from BEHIND the vehicle so unless his first shot caused Ghost Pepper to lose control and spin 180 degrees in lest than the length of the vehicle, for there to be a bullet -hole in the windshield that could hit Ghost’s shoulder either the bullet passed through the vehicle and through Ghost in which case the slug would have been flattened to the point it should have removed the entire windshield not just make a small hole (not to mention that the exit wound would have most likely removed a large portion of Ghost as well) or else there was a second shooter who had a clean line of sight from above and in front of the vehicle (Perhaps Ruby was out deer hunting?)
If you have enough money, you can live at home on any charge. Just keep showing up. Something called “innocent until..etc. etc” If PF is convicted, I don’t think Dicko will carry much weight with DA though. DA want scalp.

On the one hand, it is theoretically wise for Phishface to turn away his wounded old friend who is on the lam and sure to attract unwanted attention if traced by Tracy or the MCU.
But, practically speaking, I do not think Ghost Pepper (and his helpful flunky, Pierre) will take “no” for an answer to the request for a hideaway.
This leaves Phishface, grumpy already at this unexpected 2:00 AM visit, in a troublesome quandary. Risk his bail by helping by helping Ghost; or risk his life by refusing the desperate desperado, who has a screw or two loose, not to mention leakage of blood thanks to Tracy’s quick marksmanship as the restaurant van spun around on the slippery mountain road.
Stay ’tooned for our next installment, Pepper on Ice….
…And my dismay on reading Morrow’s Ghost posted pending trip to the O.R. I tried calling him; it rings briefly before going to voice message, so left one.
And finally, Good afternoon all you hooks, lines and sunkers !
Morrow asked me to share that due to the shock of his situation his wife had a stroke and is now in the same hospital he is, 3 floors above him. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers.

Something here is fishy. Who’s that knocking at the door?
Guest so late is tempting fate. May sleep forever more.
Ghost is leaking badly. There’s a hole in his shoulder
Wounds left unattended have been known to quickly molder.
Ghost Pepper needs a hideout. Phishface needs his jury hung
Both villains are foul murderers whose deeds left them undone.
Late this night things are not right. Awake to a nightmare
Phishface not to be trifled with, yet Pepper does not scare.
Now calling in a marker. This wipes the slate all clean
Attempt was made on Tracy’s life. Ghost faded from that scene.
On the run it’s never fun. Ghost did not for this wish
To choose this lair is quite the dare. The whole place reeks of fish.

Well, at least Phishface is sympathetic. ✨

Unanswered questions get me mad
The thing I find that’s really sad

So one of Tracy’s shots went through the van’s chassis and hit Ghost Pepper. Lucy shot?

Neat touch with the swordfish in the background when Phishface says the “hanging on a hook” line.
I find it odd that he’d be out on bail if he’s awaiting his sentence right now.

Good morning™, people with problems!
We can all be grateful if our problems are less serious than Ghost’s, but Phishface doesn’t seem all that sympathetic to me.

Maybe Phishface is required to wear an ankle(?) bracelet while out on bail?
