Gil’s printing really took a turn for the worse when he got to the number 9 slot.

What’s Padilla’s position CH? Chicano Hitter?

KDIZZLE’s right. Instead of CF, it looks just like an “H.”

I used to lead off (fast pitch softball). Get on with a W or whatever and steal a base almost every game. Fun! Does Bader have wheels? It’s never been hinted at.

You have to admire Bader’s intensity.

Hold it, how is Arroyo batting 10th? The lineup appears to go 1-2-3-4-6-7-8-9-10.

Gil must have taken a cue from Wednesday’s Mets game.

P1, Sorry, Master Bader but the quarterback gets to bat where he wants to bat.

P2, I should be beating off.

P3, Gonna foul off a lot of pitches, eh Moose.

What conference is May River in….never heard of them, or a town or a river by that name anywhere near Milford (wherever Milford is?)

Chip is on top of it. Milford Math has vexed many of us over the years. GilPa has Bader hitting second for his flexibility to punch it anywhere, anytime to advance the runner. Why does Pels have that aura of Canseco about him?

If Pelwecki is such a force at the plate, why is former state champ Gilpa batting him 7th?

Nothing has been covered so far about the smoke signals Hiawatha James will be sending the pitcher going forward.

Barry Bader should be leading off. Or something like that.

Ah. Number 9 is Hiawatha James. Gil must have been honoring his heritage by writing his name is some obscure system of Native American pictographs.

I want my 2-3 hitters to be the guys I can count on to put the ball in play and move runners over. No Ks or DPs. So I can’t count on you to do that Barry?

Most lineup cards show positions with a number like lf is 7, SS is 6, etc.

P1: Unlike Saturday’s strip, this one has only scored a 5/10.

Milford’s first game. My great-nephew’s team lost their first round play off game last night so they’re done.
