People learn to parachute when they are over ninety. Your life isn’t over until you have decided that it all happened in the past— and you have lots of time to learn to play a harp, or whatever else you didn’t have time to do when you had to work, raise kids, etc.
I returned to learning how to play the guitar at – ahem – a little past 65 (okay, a little further than just a “little past”). I engaged a teacher at a local music store, take lessons regularly, and oddly enough I am able to pink and plunk a few things that are dangerously close to sounding like real music. While I’m more than aware that I shall never be another Jimmy Hendrix or Chet Atkins, I enjoy it tremendously playing for an audience of one – myself.

Think I know of a fat whale who’s about to get harpooned.

You should be glad she never learned harpooning Earl, you’d be her first target.

You really should be out of range when you make a comment like that.

Women are angels – they never have an earthly thing to wear, they are always flying off the handle, and they are usually harping on something.

Never too old to learn! The harp isn’t as hard as you think, and even beginner pieces sound lovely.
