You can almost feel the calm on the backyard patio in the first frame, until it’s suddenly interrupted by the sound of breaking grass as Tracy and Sawtooth come crashing through the window. It didn’t need a THOCK! or a BAMM! either.

I think the boys are deliberately shattering all of the taboos that Standards & Practices imposed upon ”Batman: The Animated Series”

It was bad enough the Wonder Woman series Diana never gets to punch anyone.

It must be safety glass from the way it breaks into those fragments like that.

Hey! Who’s gonna pay for that window?

Come on Tess, save your husband and shoot Sawtooth.

Does Tracy have a swimming pool? If so I can see Sawtooth being drowned.

Aw, come on! I stayed up for these two panels that don’t move the story along?? I’m disappointed.

Let’s hope that the back of Sawtooth’s head hits the concrete- HARD.

I’ve been on a deadline and haven’t been able to comment much lately but I really like the action and Joe’s portrayal of it.

Wow! I don’t usually comment on the artwork but this one is awesome. No sound effect needed, the action speaks for itself.

Sawtooth is going to hit the edge of that picnic table and break his neck.

Just dropped in to say that this right here is what action comics is all about. This is how it’s done, boys and girls, right here. And this works SO great in the dailies. Wouldn’t be the same in a comic book. It’d be good, yeah. But the wait, from one day to the next for each piece of action, and it just keeps building like this, WOW! This is Eisner quality work here. As expected!

BTW, im on vacation next week so i ,ay not post very often.

Unfortunately its NOT Hawaii this year, but any time away from work is fine by me. I’m bringing my laptop (personal one) and my tablet with me so i may or may not post (i will be at the NJ Shore from wednesday til friday coming back saturday) <P<>

I have to say I’m a little disappointed that Tracy apparently uses a propane grill.

Wow! This is the Real Deal, in terms of “action” scenes. The quiet patio, then the crash through the glass patio doors. And Tracy has the momentum. This is unfamiliar territory for Sawtooth, who is not used to an opponent of equal or greater capability. Will he end up with some glass in his back? —Probably. Will it be a major wound? —That remains to be seen….

Meanwhile Tess is inside, with the drop on the wounded Grimm. Where’s that MCU backup?
