Danae – tell him it is flat world, everyone has summer!

And “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress!”

Can he send the entire Earth back in time? What is the range of the machine? Can he send Neptune or Alpha Centauri back in time?

I think the Physics is wrong here! Only those who travel back in the machine should have an eternal summer. The rest of the world would go on!

Reality is a harsh taskmaster but some have managed to avoid it for the last year or two.

Tex, there will be a reckoning…

Why is Danae looking for an endless summer. Is she looking for the perfect wave?

It is people themselves, behind and beyond any planning plus the execution of said plans, that are imperfect.

Actually there have been many SF stories where the protagonist/s benefit from time travel.

But since when would Danae care about people in the other hemisphere? She probably doesn’t even believe they exist, since the idea of people walking around upside down is just stupid.

Coming from a country where we have have four proper seasons, I’d find an endless summer endlessly boring!

I can’t wait for summer to end. The western U.S. is on fire and the air quality is horrible, and in fact, some of that smoke has reached New York according to a news story I saw the other day.

She should move closer to the equator.

Not everyone likes summer. I, for one, would prefer endless autumn. Counting the days until October is the only thing that gets me through the summer months.

Think of all the holiday resorts for winter sports!

The people in the other hemisphere would all come here then. Oh, wait!

Time for Lucy to come to the rescue.

You mean it’s winter in the Eastern Hemisphere? I’d better replan that trip to Europe then!

People hate it when their own sense of reality is disturbed.

Endless summers are easy; just buy a condo in Christ Church New Zealand and switch around every June and November.

People fighting wildfires up and down the west coast of North America can’t wait for this summer to end.

Do I perceive a word to the wise there, Wiley? May all hear!!!

There is the theory that going back in time could cause a split, with a branch reflecting the changes made by the traveler and another where no travel happened.

There is a place with an endless summer and I just visited there. It is called: Hawaii.
