You’d think that these running enthusiasts would’ve figured out that the same thing applies to their efforts to extend their lives thru exercise. They’re swapping hours when they’re young, vigorous, and in full possession of their faculties for a few more when they’ll be old, feeble, incontinent, and incoherent, and they think it’s a good deal.

If you gain a few extra days when you’re young, by the time you’re old they’ve become a few extra years because of interest. Right?
