Almost sounds as though they might have gotten into a Matrix or something. Or are being warned that they have.

If that statement isn’t enough to get some qualified head doctor to examine the speaker, I can’t imagine what would.

Reading, and them saying I´d agree with – but not what I´m seeing … that is stretching reality a bit too much.

Or as Don Lemon of CNN put it (more or less), “Don’t believe everything you see with your ears.”

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

“There is no need for propaganda to be rich in intellectual content.”

“The masses need something that will give them a thrill of horror.”

“Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated are confident they are acting on their own free will.” – Joseph Goebbels

What’s really happening is much, MUCH worse than that!

Everyone is seeing and hearing only fragments of what is happening and that is distorted by their own personal perspective. We don’t even have the capability to perceive all of the variables much less all of the ones we can at the same time. The realization of that can be quite troubling if you can’t get past it.

Watched for the third or fourth time a Twilight Zone written by Rod Serling titled “He’s Alive” about a pathetic young man who dons the garb of Nazism and gathers a group around him in his little city neighborhood. Mind you, this was written in the early ‘60s (and for those of you who don’t know Rod Serling’s creds, he’s an award-winning writer as well as creator of the Zone) but I swear the rhetoric the young man was spewing was, to paraphrase, ripped from today’s tweets and rallies. The title refers to the mysterious figure in the shadows who counsels the young man (turns out to be the spirit of Hitler, of course). The advice he gives the young man on how to “inspire” the crowds is blow for blow the playbook of Trump’s rallies. The Truth is out there; you just have to work for it.
