Hi all. Yesterday, Gloria Fleming announced a GroupMe for us to chat about BCN. There are some issues with that however. It requires anyone joining to submit a phone number to send a text message to. Since I do not have the ability to receive text messages, I cannot join it. I saw at least one other poster leave a comment which said that they did not want to give out their phone number because of scammers etc.

I therefore took it upon myself to make a Discord group for BCN. If anyone wants to join it, you can go here:

Making a Discord account does not require a phone number. You can also download an app, so you can access Discord outside of your browser. You can upload pictures. It also has voice chat (I have had problems with voice chat because my computer sucks, but it is there).

Guess this is the BCN version of the old theatre adage “bad dress rehearsal = great opening night”. Funny how only Elvis seems to realize they are still live and tries to interrupt the Puck and Lupin happy dance.

On another note, my two normally laid back kitties gave a great display of poof last evening. Our neighbors Golden Retriever puppy came bounding over to visit. Well naturally we had to pet him as GR puppies are very friendly and high on the extreme cuteness scale. So I heard a hiss, turned around, and there on the screen porch rail were a black and a white cat with identical snarls, arched backs and tail poofs….Puck and Lupin to the inch! So funny. The dogs don’t care for sharing pats either but are much lower key about it.

Sorry I’m so late, but we got a new couch delivered this morning and I had to unplug the laptop and move the end table so the couch could be slid right to its space in the living room area. Then Yum Yum had to laptop on the laptop and I just got it back now. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Shaunn, did you get your plumbing fixed?

Anything about Sophie’s eyes being different colors? I don’t recall reading anything here, and I don’t follow the facebook page.

Reminds me of a “Wilamena the Radio Cat” play I directed. During the live performance, an entire scene on a balcony was inaudible because that microphone was not switched on. “Live” means “live”; you take what you can get.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! There are NEW BCN pins available!!! This time, the boys (incl. Tommy) are in their jammies! Have we ever seen Tommy in his PJs before? The treasure is Pucky, who is showing his little spot of white fur, wearing one bunny slipper, and holding Buzzy Mouse (who wears a night cap). The other pins all have their good points, but Pucky is Cuteness Overload!

I know that someone here (please forgive my memory, but I can’t remember who) mentioned that Sophie should sound like Eva Gabot in The Aristocats…so now the question is, is Tommy’s full name Abraham DeLacy Giuseppe Casey Thomas O’Malley?

Anyone notice over at amazon that the BCN book seems to have changed title from “Breaking Cat News On the Scene” to “Lupin Leaps In: a BCN Adventure”? The blurb hasn’t been updated, which is how I recalled the old title. Certainly that’s a wonderful indicator of many more to come!

Georgia may have mentioned this on facebook, but I don’t spend much time over on facebork so I might have missed it.

Frankly, I can’t wait to learn how to draw my cats as reporters . . . I mean that seriously . . . shy, sensitive Angel who pays close attention to what her human does (when Angel’s awake to bother), and recovering-PTSD-feral Gandalf who won’t quite give in to that encroaching Stockholm Syndrome, but who loves watching the clowder outside that used to bully him (neener neener, he’s DRY and WARM).
