Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
On the other hand, when youāre at work, you are helping keep the peace and saving lives. If you donāt get a break now and then, you might make a fatal error.
Just when Dana became somewhat likable, she goes and does this. Right back in the āunlikableā camp with Yolanda from āHerb & Jamaalā and Les Knox from āLuannā.
This weekday of strips hasnāt been funny so far. I hope Marcy puts Dana in her place about how hard her husband works and doesnāt deserves to be guilt-tripped.
I have a nephew whoās a law enforcement officer, and a niece (his sister) who is an in-home hospice nurse, traveling daily to various households. Both work regular hours as scheduled, but neither is ever off duty. Several times one of them has gotten late night or early morning messages of someone needing assistance and gone out in all kinds of weather. I donāt remember either ever taking a break that took them far from home that exceeded two days.

Joe should remind Dana that heās a cop and caring for a city and needs those days off to recharge himself!

She gets paid the big bucks and that means longer hours,

I hope Joe gets to stop Marcyās boss on the highway for a speeding ticket.

Tell Dana to take a flying leap. Being a cop is a dangerous, stressful job, and this is Joeās first day off in weeks. Heās earned it.
Marcy knew what she was doing when she took this job. Joe has nothing to feel guilty about.

Itās all about choices and how you handle work stress. Outside pressure is not welcome.

Dana, Marcy is not the only one who works hard everyday.

Iām sure the kids are having a good time where ever mom sent them. Leave it to a single lady with no children to try and make a dad feel guilty.

It seems the guilt is doing wonders for his performance.

Marcie should not be working 17 hour days. And, she should also be getting days off as well as her husband does

I have heard that the burn out rate for those working in trauma in ER and those who are in really bad shape is high.

The first time I ever played golf, I shot three under par for the course. It got dark before we could play the second hole.
