The bomber was a twisted man who had been in trouble before and would have been in trouble in the future under any circumstances. But the campaign of attempted bombing he undertook was without reasonable doubt a choice determined by Trump’s irresponsible ranting. The refusal of Trump and his supporters/enablers to acknowledge obvious facts is no surprise whatever and further exposes their massive lack of integrity.

The President’s primary job is to set a tone for government. That tone, along with what’s been tolerated and encouraged by the GOP faithful in Congress (in the service of billionaires) has resulted in both a level of corruption and inflammatory rhetoric that Trump is directly responsible for. The cult will deny it, the people who profit by feeding the propaganda machine (like Payne) will excuse it, the minority will revel In their power and do whatever they can to hold it, and the damage will just keep accruing.

An awesome example of reductio ad absurdum. Which I’ll admit sounds like a Harry Potter spell. But really is a type of intellectually dishonest fallacy argument.

Those murderous old, white, Trumpers have been nursing off of Trump for a long time. They represent Trump ideology as a physical manifestation. They won’t be the last, unfortunately.

“Sources say Michael Myers was Trump supporter!”. Was that because his van was plastered over with Trump stickers and pictures of his opponents with gun sights on their faces?

Not surprised that Payne would treat our tragedies as “jokes!”

“Blame Trump” is simplistic. He’s just the turd that washed up from the tide of anti-Obama anti-government reactionary voters. And an obvious and easy target. And dead wrong to act that way, though I doubt he can help himself.

    Blame that zeitgeist, sure.

Point A: Il Douche calls CNN “the enemy of the people”.———————-Point B: Bombs get sent to CNN.

I know you’re an idiot, Payne, but even you can connect those dots.

Let me see, a mob, ‘er, campaign rally of folks screaming “Lock her up”, among other things, with the cheerleader shouting out his enemies list, couldn’t possibly indicate why one, if not more of those admirers would be stimulated to violence with guidance to like, well, “Bash ’em in the face”, or proclaiming shooting someone on fifth avenue would NOT cost him any votes, or offering to pay for those folks if they get arrested for violent acts on his behalf???
