Oh, can I sympathize. I used to keep my earrings in a pile on a shelf above my bed, then Sparky decided that shelf made a good seat and relocated the earrings downward. The way my roomâs set up, some of those earrings are STILL under my bedâŠWonder what Iâll find when I pack up for the upcoming moveâŠ
âYes, Kitten⊠30 years. And if truth be told, a bit further.â Maxie took his coffee cup between his teeth like heâd just caught it in the back yard, and gulped its contents. Megan laughed sharply; âSee- thereâs another thing you wonât see your average housecat doâŠâ Tre-C and Max turned and stared at Megan. âJust trying to insert a little levity, kids. Sorry.â âBut howâŠ?â Megan cut Maxie off; âMaybe when we get back. Right now we have planning to do- letâs not lose focus.â
Cats have you been accused by your People of crimes you didnât commit? If so, call the law offices of the Feline Legal Defense. Weâll make sure you have the representation you need.
Iâm sure everyone here has had or knows someone who has a cat like âDiggerâ. I cannot hide anything from her. Items once secured in a drawer or box or- cat forbid!- a shopping bag, will appear as if by magic on the living room floor, bed, dining room table, or kitchen counter. I swear sheâs part raven. I know sheâs seen how the door levers work (we do not have doorknobs on most doors). One of my greatest fears is one morning Iâll get up to feed them and my keys will be gone and the car wonât be in the drivewayâŠ
As some of us pointed out a week or two back, there is no English word âalrightâ. THAT is what Lupin is speaking of with âI beg your pardonâ. Heâs objecting to the Womanâs misuse, thatâs all.
Good morning and happy Funday, orbsters and orbabies. Methinks Lupin must have made off with something shiny in the past, or the woman would not be confronting him now. I also didnât spot Natasha until she was pointed out to me. On another note, we had dinner at my daughterâs yesterday, and my great-granddaughter presented me with some artwork â a drawing on one side that we promptly dubbed âWindows 100â and a montage of stickers on the other. Think I can find the blasted thing this morning so I can put it on the fridge? Nope, noway and nohow. I canât point the finger at Yum Yum, she only nibbles on the corners of the newspaper and this was printer paper. Oh, wellâŠ..
Had a little calico (Katherine Tallulah Diddley, KT for short) who had a thing for shiny blingâŠrings, earrings, and a gold bridge that is still missing to this day. Evinrude did bread twisties and hair ties. Pussnboots was fascinated by any little crinkled bit of paper/wrapping paper. Linus was a sock stealer, and, most appropriately, a stealer of doll blankets. Sally thinks hair ties and yarn are fascinating, but she tends to make âfloor artâ like the talented Sophie.
We didnât have a fresh sample when we brought the family in so there was no worming meds for Trixie. We were pretty sure she had them but the vet suggested we wait for the spay to do the single dose pill. She is calmer but still not in a place where can pill her or even try the oral suspensions.
Last night she hurled up a huge wad of worms. Apparently this happens when the infestation is extreme. The vet typically doesnât stock the topical version of the dewormer but is ordering it for us today. We canât allow this to continue at this scale.
No wonder the poor puss has been so rumbly in the tumbly. Eating like a hog but gaining no weight. Will inform as things change.
WellâŠIâm off to the hospital to have an MRI of my head to see whatâs up with the swollen optic nerve in my left eye thatâs had me half-blind for 6 weeks. Not looking forward to lying on my racked back on a hard table in a noisy room for an hour. Stay tunedâŠ

Sadly, I lost one half of my all-time favourite pair of earrings in just such a âmysteriousâ manner.

Lupin may be innocent. Is that a rare dangly earing the Robber Mouse is carrying in panel two?

Dangly earrings are rare? There was a plague of the things not long ago.
(Yes, Iâve given up being happy. Too exhausting. For those who want a last dose of it, try this:

Thank you so very much. Cat food and kitty litter are very expensive, so your gift is greatly appreciated.

In my experience (or rather, the experience of the mother of my children) dangley earrings and small infants do NOT mix, even without pierced ears!
