Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
They always show us these things. This is rated R; this is mix and match; this is only on Nintendo switch! We get it already! You have stuff to show us!
Glad to have the Genie with my DTV service in that we record a lot of stuff that weâll watch the next day. Of course one canât record EVERYTHING, but itâs great to zip thru all those stupid commercials and be able to enjoy said recorded programs !
Todays commercials take up more space than the actual show. Get Blu Ray and other CDâs to watch. It is a little work, but no commercials. Besides most commercials are about things one does not need anyway.
I wonder if companies / businesses even know that we do NOT want to see all their ads like they are being shown today? Do they not know how irritating they are and how many there are? I suppose they wouldnât show them so much if people didnât buy their product⊠but apparently people keep right on buying from them. And now, have you heard that they are considering lighting up ads in the skies at night? Unbelievable but not surprising. Somebody has to buy their product so their CEO can have his millions!
I missed the end of a Gunsmoke the other day because my patience with the endless commercials ran out. Pity too, as I will wonder how Chester resolved the situation.
I moved to streaming services specifically due to ads, especially campaign ads and PACs. However, I will not recommend Pluto. They seem to air more ads from PACs than I find on cable. The problem is they have acquired the rights to a number of older TV shows (especially from the 1990s), and thus you wonât find the shows elsewhere.
Ads used to be quite funny, or did a great job selling the product. Now, I think they do neither. Even Super Bowl ads arenât what they used to be.
(continuing sentence from comic) hereâs a word from our sponsor, right after this commercial break. But before that, we have some awesome commercials to show you, after this commercial break. But firstâŠ

I find using the mute button on the remote and closing your eyes for a period of time solves the problem. It also is very relaxing.

I can usually endure commercials, but when they repeat the same commercial in the same 3-minute block, I . . . I . . . I donât like it!!!

We now get about five minutes of commercials, and only 20 minutes of a half hour television show. And only 40 minutes of a one hour show
