Ok, right about now is when you need a smart phone to record any incriminating files and send them back to the MCU. By the way, how do this big time drug syndicate and crime family boss and his chief assistant give a total stranger unfettered access to a wealth of potentially incriminating files?
Jut further proof that Austin’s an idiot.. his back is turned and he speaks out loud about working for Tracy. Wouldn’t it be a kick if that was anthrax on those files and not dust?
I thought this guy was an experienced informant. I would think rule number one at C.I. School would be “Don’t talk out loud about how you’re an undercover informant while you’re undercover as an informant!”
Is undercover agent Striker (Lafayette Austin) really stupid enough to be talking out loud about what he’s really doing?! Or must we understand these conventional speech balloons (not “thought bubbles” or the like) as just for our benefit out here beyond the Fourth Wall? —Because if Laffy is really so careless/dumb, he might easily be recorded or overheard, and his cover blown (not to mention the real possibility of his head being blown off)!
Meanwhile, I guess dusty files means old files, whatever that may imply….

Are those files booby trapped?

Good morning™, undercover operatives!
“Striker” is even getting into the oldest, dustiest files. He will probably find stuff even they can’t find.

Good morning™ Looks like he is digging into the back files. Could be information dozens of crimes.

This is why my undercover disguises always include a gas mask.

WHY is mr. “Dad of The Year” talking out loud?
I really, really, really hope he gets knocked off as his Christmas bonus!
That should purge him of his smugness!

Uh, given the nature of Mr. Vortex’s “business,” you might want to wear a mask… and some gloves…

I just saw the October 14th strip. It’s important to the current story line, and wasn’t posted at the time.

Has Lafayette “turned” Devil-I mean Devonshire?

That computer screen behind him probably has video and audio on and is letting others know what he is up to.

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t like the appearance of white powder. Anyone remember the anthrax attacks of 2001?

So, Nancy’s not the only one forgetting to use her thought balloons today.

would the writers allow ugly crystal’s new dad to get whacked? won’t be long before polar suspects a mole.

I sure hope that the villains aren’t listening to him think out loud!

They should have been thought balloons or asides on the edges. Takes up space. Easier just to use thought balloons.

You fool! Use thought bubbles to tell us – don’t say it out loud! :-)
