I will be on Twitter as long as Walter (Owen’s Grandpa) is on Twitter.

To be or not to be, that is the question. Tis it nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and, by opposing, end them. Or maybe I’ll just post on social media.

Apparently the Russians were able to tweet outrageous things that made things happen.

There really are not that many people who consider Twitter important. Unfortunately, most of the journalism profession is part of that group.

Reminded me to check my Twitter account.

That’s what happens most of the time, but if you “trigger” someone who has the opposite opinion, then you get a twitter storm. This recently happened to a Chinese author who apparently said or did something wrong in her book (the explanation is lengthy and I haven’t had the time to investigate fully) and was criticized by quite a number of people in the publishing community. She was “compelled” to post a public apology to said-community. I guess online twitter bullying is very effective.

Tis better to be silent and be thought a twit, than to type and remove all doubt.

The fundamental message of Twitter is always, “Buy this thing I want you to buy”. The outrage is just part of the marketing.

Facebook works the same way. That’s why I cancelled it.

INRAGE (definition): Being angry with your wife’s relatives.

I believe that this is the description of liberal media.

To really stir up outrage, you have to post something cute.

I’m very rarely outraged.
